I don't do a lot of self portraits, however this one has a moral. Attempting to milk every lightning drop from this surging storm in Montana, I had two cameras on tripods snapping away and a drone up. 45 seconds prior to the severe outflow winds I landed the drone, packed up the first camera and tripod and almost made it to the second camera before it smashed into the dirt. Luckily, there was no damage to the camera or lens (I'm aware of).
Let's call this one "A Bird In the Hand..."
MONSOON TIME:
Right now at home I look similar to the action shot above as I scramble to finish tasks and tie up loose ends before heading to Arizona and New Mexico this week.
Thanks Gang!
