Yesterday we observed humpback whales from our hillside air B&B and today we are roughing it in one of these bungalows.
On the flight over it was fascinating crossing the ITCZ (InterTropical Convergence Zone). There were weak pulse storms the pilot weaved through in the daylight.
Damsels, Angels, batfish, skinks and an eagle ray have been the other highlights. I just wanted to say thanks guys for sending me here. The locals have been amazing. I’m hoping for something unusual to bring home to you.

Like you, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, yes? We have a family of vultures visiting the yard of late. Hard to snap them with a cell phone, or I'd try to share. They are amazing and very gentle, parents and a fledgling who is so awkward and yet adorable. We call him Baby. They seem to like me and my cousin, they do not care how close we get, but we give them space, as a courtesy. Baby comes very close to the porch steps most days. He knows we're tossing scraps and expired meat out for him and his parents. He's hoping to sweet talk us into more goodies, silly bird. I do hope you two enjoy your trip and we're all really happy to help you be able to get away. Keep sharing your lovely vistas!
