Possible Chase Jan 8 (Elvis & Bowie’s Bday)
Added 2024-01-07 23:46:40 +0000 UTCSPC is going bold with a 10% Sig-Tor in LA and beyond tomorrow. To chase, I’ll need to see surface temperatures warming more than what the models are currently projecting… something the SPC suggested is plausible.
Above the HRRR has temps barely hitting 70. Cloudy, rainy, goobliglosh (like below) in the warm sector would highly discourage chasing.
Let’s discuss changing conditions in this thread and decide if we should chase or knock out chores.
PRODUCTIVITY DOWN THE ROAD
Though tomorrow is Elvis Presley and David Bowie’s birthday, we celebrated it last night at the 15th annual BowiElvis Fest here in Houston. In 2 weeks I have two new original songs due for mixing and mastering. Lots of new tunes on the way.
In early February it appears I’ll be making an appearance with filmmaker Jamie Winterstern at the Storm Chasing Summit in Dallas. No idea what I’m gonna talk about. Need to get on that.
I’m hoping to free up more time to edit Scott Currens and my trip to Argentina. So much fun.
Lots and lots of duties, obligations and chores to sweep off the list before tornado season. It’s gonna be here fast. Get ready gang!

Currently paying extra close attention to the thinner cloud coverage SE of Houston attm (At the moment). The WindBreaker is loaded up just in case something things look more tornadoughy in the next couple hours.
