The South America trip footage is boiled down to just under 3 hours. After another many thousand little decisions, perhaps I can whittle it down to 20 minutes. Fun stuff!
2024 CHASER SUMMIT
Found out recently I’m listed on the roster as a Speaker Saturday at the big chaser convention in Dallas. (Long story) The slideshow is due Tuesday so that gives me 2 days to figure out what I’m going to flap my gums about. If I flop, we can giggle later.
Also agreed to make a video appearance for the Rocket City Weather Fest in Huntsville Alabama in February.
NEW MUSIC
The silence you’ve been hearing from my end has been pure artsy-fartsy music inspiration. Two songs are due next Monday in the mixing studio and I’ve got another 2 already in the bag. For one Gypsy jazz Faustian song I duct-taped washers to old cowboy boots and recorded myself tap dancing. Can’t wait to share the goods with y’all.
LONG STORY LONGER, I’m going to have to start being more realistic about how much I can juggle. To start, I plan on using the word “no” for any future requests, appearances or obligations until caught up. You guys are my priority and I don’t want anything coming between that.
STORM SEASON IS COMING FAST and the to-do list needs to be blank by Mid March.

I think a lot of these new kids are getting so wrapped up in doing it “for the views” that they’re missing out on how amazing it is to travel all over the place and come across places and people most people don’t even know exist. Then you could have Jamie talk about how important it is to always have the guy telling the joke in focus and with good audio (Fort Sumner joke lol)
