Hello Patrons,
Heads up! Don’t believe your prankster friends today.

There’s currently a 10% risk for significant tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas. My mesoanalysis currently puts my initial target in northern Oklahoma, with a watchful eye on southern Kansas. The HRRR is resolving long tracking discrete supercells there run to run (fools gold?) and of course the Nam forecasts garbage.
Today has all the pieces for a classic tornado chase. Whether they can assemble remains to be seen. Regardless, there is high confidence a squall will squeege through offering lightning. I’m ready for some pretty storms! How about you guys?
I’ll try to chime in with updates when my knuckles aren’t white. Storms are expected to be cruising 40 mph or so. Good luck today fools! (And drive safely.)
