April 3 Chase?

Hello Patrons,

I hope everyone is ok. I’m thinking today would be an excellent day to not chase. Continued training storms are flooding the target area adding to the already dangerous conditions, chase country and storm speeds.

I’m thinking I’ll station in the southern Arkansas vicinity and try to resist the hook bait. But maybe, something chaseable will emerge. The next several days have significant tornado potential.

YESTERDAY I got suckered into the mini supercell swarm near Memphis. Too many storm interactions likely interfered with tornadogenesis. I eventually made it back to Arkansas at sunset for the tornado warned storm near west Memphis soaring at over 50mph. Scary mesocyclone flew by and was gone!

I’ll chime in with any unlikely news on my end.
