I’m targeting the southern end of the risk today near the TX/OK border. Special shout out to the SPC for yanking the 10% risk out from underneath us. Here’s the 8am risk outlook…
I have high confidence explosive storms will occur in my target area. Perhaps the SPC is seeing too many storms exploding and interacting /becoming a cluster rather than discrete supercells and this reduced the risk back to 5%.
For everyone up north and down south, good luck today and be careful. There will always be more burrito days.
