The most prominent of tiger warriors are given the honour of joining the Royal Guard. Their duties are not to protect the Sorcerer King, who's more than capable of protecting himself, but rather they keep the peace within the Kingdom, serving as the King's agents. Even the most powerful of wizards cannot be in all the places at once.
