0.27.0 Status Update
Added 2021-06-09 16:55:40 +0000 UTCThis is going to be a big update, and it's almost ready! The reality change and all the fallout from it has been put in, the paperdoll avatar has been mostly upgraded, the scene where you meet your parents if you're male has been put in, and there's a new repeatable yoga scene.
What's left:
- Writing the parents scene if you can no longer pass as male but haven't done the reality change
- Testing to make sure everything with the reality change works
- Proofreading
- Getting the upgraded paperdoll from my artist
I expect all of this to take no more than a week at most.

That’s really great to hear! I’m glad my suggestions helped inspire you. Maybe to avoid extra clicks you could have the player character automatically change into their default casual outfit after school or default gym outfit when they go to workout?

2021-06-14 04:54:56 +0000 UTCThat's a good idea. I played through my game and I was surprised by how quickly the backlog of conversations built up. I don't want to add unnecessary clicks, but I agree that it would be fun to not have to wait until the weekend to get to wear your new clothes. I've also been meaning to add a workout uniform that you can select when you're changing. These things won't be in the new release, but I'll try to get them in soon.

In general, I think there might be too many lunch time conversation prompts with your friends and that can obscure the conversations you need to have to advance the story. Would it be possible to have multiple conversations at lunch so there isn’t a backlog keeping the player from selecting the dialogue that advances the plot? I think that being able to go to the mall on weekdays makes a lot of sense in general and also solves my specific issue! Thanks! Also, if I may make one more suggestion, since Courtney’s clothes will be a lot more fun than Corey’s, would it be possible to have her paper doll change into casual or workout clothes after school? I love the new outfits you added to the game and it’s a shame you can only really use them on weekends.

2021-06-09 18:17:06 +0000 UTCOnly the halloween party is supposed to happen on that weekend. The other events happen whenever in the story you're able to get to them. Having them all happen on the same weekend is a lot though, yeah. Maybe I should make it so you can go to the mall during the week.

And I’m glad yoga is getting a repeatable gym event because Courtney definitely needs a girlier workout routine. One thing I noticed on my last play through though, it seems like there’s an awful lot of events all converging on the weekend of October 30/31 (going on your first date with Griffin, the Halloween party, girl talk at the beach with Jessica, your parents announcing their visit). Is this intentional or did I not trigger something in time to have the date occur a week earlier? It seems like it’ll create a bit of a train wreck on my save as I can’t get to the mall to get the materials for the ritual before the weekend… which is when Corey’s parents will arrive.
