And with the actual creators coming on saying "hey, please don't do this, it's hurtful" I think it's best to respect their wishes, even if you disagree with the sentiment behind the request. No hard feelings or anything, I'm sure you mean well 💚

2024-02-04 04:09:31 +0000 UTCI agree that people should keep certain words to themselves but I just think that as long as they can express their feelings in a way that isn't hurtful to anyone, it's not a big issue. There's always going to be people that say what they feel and think with NO consideration about how someone else may take it. So being kind and encouraging to one another is a much safer and empathetic option. . . I apologize if I came off as ignorant or inconsiderate somewhere in my words. That truly wasn't my intention. .I just don't wish for people to put aside their feelings if they can express them in a way that it isn't harmful. I rarely comment on any Patreon content in general for this reason but when I do- I do my best taking into account the creator's feelings and how my words may affect them. Nevertheless, I welcome the new VA with open arms. I'm sure they'll be wonderful🧡

2024-02-04 03:38:39 +0000 UTCyeah i promise the old VA will not see your comments so all it does is hurt the current staff's feelings haha. we all know the old voice was great, but unfortunately you need more than just a good voice. we will never trash someone who leaves the team, it's unprofessional and mean, but it also means you all don't get the full picture, so ultimately i'd just like for comments to be kept to yourselves

Like literally there is nothing a comment like that will accomplish other than potentially making the creators feel bad. It's not criticism that can be acted upon, its a new VA or no L audios. So yeah, have whatever opinion you want, no one is saying you cant, but just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it needs to be said publicly. The respectful thing is to not compare the newcomer to the old one, that's a lot of pressure and impossible expectations to put on someone, no matter how you sugarcoat it. Please try to put yourself in their shoes.

As long as they're respectful about it and don't say anything too harsh, I believe patrons are entitled to their opinions and feelings about a new VA. Especially if they're paying for such content and especially after getting so used to and adoring a previous VA. If it becomes repetitive, however, I understand then. But as long as they're respectful about their words, it should be okay, right?💙
