IBHJ Chapter 832

Skadi left her own words in the notebook he had cherished so much: "I can't forget myself! I can't forget him! I won't!"

But in the end, she still forgot.

Yet, the pain and obsession etched into her very bones allowed her soul and spirit to finally remember.

Skadi fell silent, her frail shoulders trembling slightly. She gently curled up her long legs and softly said, "I'm used to loneliness now."

The evening breeze stirred her long hair as Scathach silently watched the figure shaking in the night.

"I see," Scathach sighed. "It looks like I'll be sticking around for a while. I also want to see what becomes of this connection point. You don't mind, do you?"

"Of course not. There are still things that need your help, after all."

"Need my help?" Scathach's raised her eyebrows.

Skadi led Scathach to the ruins of Asgard, where the corpse of Bergelmir stood surrounded by five Origin Wheels. The giant was constantly growing, its surface becoming crystal clear, as if imbued with new life.

"This... what is this...?" Scathach stared at the corpse in shock.

"The Wrath of the Gods," Skadi said.

"Wrath of the Gods?" Scathach gave her a puzzled look.

Skadi nodded, clenching her fists. "Those bastards from the Council toyed with Odin and the Norse gods; they treated them like toys that can be played with in their hands. Well, let them see just how terrifying their plaything can be!"

Scathach squinted at it. "What can this thing do?"

"More or less, it should work similarly to that dragon that invaded Fuyuki."

Scathach was taken aback. "Si-similar to that abomination?"

"Yes," Skadi nodded. "When I saw that creature in my dream, I felt something was off. After regaining my Authority, I realized I could create something similar. But since the other regions in this connection point have already disappeared, it can only accommodate Norse mythology. So, in the end, the overall performance is lower than that abomination."

Scathach lowered her head, staying silent.

"What's wrong?" Skadi asked curiously. "Is my idea not that great?"

"No," Scathach raised her head. "It's not that your idea is bad. It's just that you wanting to create something similar to that monster makes me uneasy. If I'm being honest, it's got me wondering about what that thing really is. What exactly is it? And what's the true purpose of the Council in creating such a thing?"

"As long as we keep pushing forward, we'll definitely find all the answers, and the final mastermind will show themselves."

"The final mastermind?" Scathach gave her a strange look.

"That Council Sixth Seat definitely isn't the real mastermind. I've seen it. I've seen the mastermind. Even though that memory seems to be sealed by something, and even my current Authority might not be able to undo it, I'm sure that the real mastermind behind Shirou's infinite resets and Saver's appearance will be explained someday. We can't do anything to them now because the Council is still too powerful. But we can make ourselves stronger."

Looking at the transformed giant, Skadi said, "And this is how we'll strengthen ourselves, and at the same time, it's the wrath of us Norse gods towards the Council. This thing will definitely become a powerful tool for Shirou to protect Pan-Human History."

"Mm, how're you planning to do it?" Scathach asked.

"We'll use Bergelmir as the foundation, letting it become the vessel of the gods, the throne that carries the gods' wrath. After we're done creating it, we'll pour their power into it. This thing will definitely become a great tool to fight against the Council. This way, Shirou will also be able to protect his Pan-Human History."

Scathach looked at her in surprise. Even now, she's always thinking about Shirou...

"He's my student. My most important student. So, as his teacher, I have to create a path to happiness for him," Skadi said, smiling.

"If that's the case, then I'll lend a hand. Because I'm also his shisho."

The two looked at each other and smiled.

In this razed connection point, a terrifying weapon was being created. When this weapon is finished, what kind of disaster will it bring?

No one knows. But this world, which once teetered on the brink of destruction, has experienced the flames of war and strife, and is now bursting with vibrant life. The day of destruction is also the day of rebirth.

...

"I'm sorry, I killed your sister."

Amidst the ruins, the man held a blood-soaked dagger, his face numb as he looked at the girl across from him. "I'll shoulder the fate of this world, I'll save it. I'm the victor of this Holy Grail War!"

The man turned his back and walked towards the thing devouring everything atop the ruins.

"Even if you killed my sister, you can't win! The Sword of Promised Victory and the Sword of Rupture have both failed, and your Servant is gone. There won't be a victor in this war. You, a mere Master, can't defeat that thing!" The desperate girl shouted, her voice filled with despair.

The man turned his head, looking at the despairing girl, and said seriously, "Can't win? I don't believe that."

The man had made up his mind. Betting everything on his dreams, he had to move forward even with tears in his eyes, because this was preparation for laughter. He'd definitely-

Shirou suddenly sat up, panting heavily, his body drenched in cold sweat. He covered his face with his hand, gradually calming his breathing.

Frowning slightly, he gazed at the Command Spell on the back of his right hand. "It happened again!"

Ever since he'd remembered some of his past memories and the Command Spell appeared on his hand, he'd been having this strange dream. It wasn't unfamiliar to Shirou. After seeing Odin in the dream world, he'd been having this dream.

"What exactly does this strange dream mean?" He frowned. "Is it one of those countless resets I went through before? But why are the memories so clear, and why now?"

The door swung open and Artoria rushed in. Noticing his troubled expression, she asked with concern, "What's wrong, my king? Mm—"

As she spoke, her eyes landed on his body, and she quickly covered them with her hand.

Seeing Artoria's reaction, he couldn't help but ask, "Artie, what's the matter?"

"Clothes... my king, could you please put something on?" she said shyly.

He glanced down and immediately realized he was completely naked. Right, he preferred sleeping nude.

Looking at Artoria covering her eyes, he asked with a playful smile, "What's the big deal? Still shy about seeing me like this? Haven't you already had your way with me plenty of times before?"

"Mm—" she let out an embarrassed sound...

Yeah, I can definitely agree with a mystery aspect has been a bigger part but I kind of wish that it would be toned down moving forward.

This Novel has become a mystery themed novel. Like, I don’t mind mystery and even enjoy most times. But the mystery of this latest arc with Skadi and Norse had me so lost and overwhelmed. Too much mystery in one arc lol. The actual plot of the arc itself is simple. Head to Asgard, team up with Skadi and finally defeat the giants.

Looks like we have some preparations for the future. As well as some more mystery.
