IBHJ Chapter 814
Added 2024-05-06 06:24:48 +0000 UTC"Wait, hmm, maybe if I catch you, I can get it back...?" The mysterious person shrouded in black fog said as a misty black dragon head emerged from his body, charging towards Mordred. In the next moment, an explosion of mana erupted.
With a deafening boom that shook the earth, the black mist passed directly through Mordred as if she were nothing more than a mirage. It crashed into the ground behind her, the impact similar to that of a small meteor striking the surface. But Mordred remained unfazed. In this world, as far as she knew, only she, the bearer of the Grail, could allow anyone to touch her.
Undeterred by the failed attack, another burst of black mist erupted from the mysterious person's body, its maw gaping wide as if to devour Mordred whole. Although she knew the attack couldn't hurt her, she was acutely aware that she couldn't allow this person to get anywhere near Chaldea. If he did, it would only lead to countless sacrifices, no matter how many people Chaldea sent to fight.
Suddenly, Demonic Bodhisattva's lips curled into a smile as she turned to the black mist person. "Oh my, are you sure about this? Don't you have something else to take care of?"
Sixth Seat frowned, clearly displeased by the interruption.
Demonic Bodhisattva continued, her voice tinged with amusement. "Oh my, then it seems like Surtr's matter will also have to wait. Do you need me to help you out?"
A sneer formed on his face. "Please. It's just a little demon playing with my power."
She chuckled, her eyes glinting with mischief. "But even so, you have to admit she's not half bad. And don't forget about your current state. Due to the problem with the Root, you don't have the free rein to act in this world."
He lowered his head, staring at Mordred, his entire body exuding murderous intent. "Everything was the fault of this brat. Right now she's earned herself the right to taste true hell. Not only are you as annoying as your foolish father, but you also dared to steal my Grail and destroy-" He stopped himself, slowly lowering his head as if reining in his anger. "Alright. Let me show you what hell is really like."
A strange, terrifying aura pulsed from within his body, accompanied by an ear-piercing screech. It wasn't just an aura... it was the embodiment of fear itself. Like a meteor shower, the black mist charged towards Mordred's Grail. He laughed coldly as the mists converged into one, knowing full well that the Grail was Mordred's weakness, the Achilles' heel of her Noble Phantasm.
"Not so fast!" Despite having her weakness exposed, Mordred didn't even flinch. She turned her head and looked at Demonic Bodhisattva.
In a flash, the alien patterns on Mordred's body lit up, and the three eyes on the Grail emitted an eerie light. She raised her hand, and a strange fluctuation gathered between her brows, forming a third eye that blasted straight towards Demonic Bodhisattva.
The attack was faster than thought itself, leaving no time for Demonic Bodhisattva to react. It pierced through her brain, and her abdomen split open, revealing a black hole. "Ah..." she gasped, her body stiffening as her eyes turned dull.
Mordred controlled the seductress to move in front of her, and the black mist was sucked into the endless black hole. From within the abyss, pale hands emerged, shattering the remaining black mist with even greater speed.
"You actually controlled Kiara..." Sixth Seat looked at Mordred in shock.
Mordred, holding the Grail, smiled and asked, "Feels familiar, doesn't it? This is an attack on the mind. Though, I'd rather die than go through that again."
Countless pale hands burst out from Demonic Bodhisattva, charging towards Sixth Seat.
Mordred's eyes flashed, and in the blink of an eye, the pale hands surged forward, their ghostly fingers outstretched as they struck the Sixth Seat's body with a sickening crunch. However, he remained still, neither dodging nor attempting to move out of the way. The hands shattered half of his body, his form crumbling like a statue made of sand.
A cold, mirthless laugh escaped the Sixth Seat's lips. "To think you can control her... it should be impossible. Haha, how interesting."
Mordred scoffed, her eyes narrowing as she met Sixth Seat's gaze. "After what I went through in Romania, did you really think I'd come unprepared? This fellow's lust is even more terrifying than falling into the abyss. If I didn't have a way to deal with it, there's no way I would've come here just by sensing this fellow's aura."
A chilling laugh slipped from Mordred's smile as she raised the Grail, the ancient artifact pulsing with a bizarre light. The ground beneath him shimmered, and countless pale hands passed through and came out from the earth as though they were an illusion, their fingers clawing at the air as they struck Sixth Seat's face with a sickening squelch.
Sixth Seat's expression remained unchanged, unfazed by the hole punched through his face. It meant nothing to him, a mere inconvenience at best. But Mordred's actions caught him completely off guard, his eyes widening in surprise. "I can't believe you actually extended your Noble Phantasm to Demonic Bodhisattva's power..."
Mordred's eyes flashed again as the corner of her mouth curved into a smile. Demonic Bodhisattva let out a mindless howl, forcefully releasing even more pale hands that charged towards Sixth Seat like meteors.
Sixth Seat's eyes narrowed, his brow furrowing as he watched countless pale hands surging towards him. At this point, he realized that he could no longer sit back and watch, not when Demonic Bodhisattva's attacks were proving to be a genuine threat now that she was under Mordred's Grail. This caused her attacks to be able to hit him, and the fact that she could do this was a troubling development, as her existence was more or less on the same level as him right now. He had never anticipated Mordred directly controlling the Demonic Bodhisattva and going all out against him.
Countless black mists in the shape of dragon heads burst out from his eyes, attempting to devour Demonic Bodhisattva's hands. Boom! Boom! A series of explosions rang out, like blooming fireworks, as the black mists collided with the pale hands.
Emerging from the explosions, he glared at Mordred. "Leaving the Grail in her hands is definitely too dangerous. Looks like you and the Grail will have to die here. I'll just have to explain it to the Council later. Kiara, you can keep Mordred company in the afterlife."
His eyes glowed an eerie, blood-red hue as the space around him began to splinter, like delicate glass under immense pressure. The cracks spread outward from where he stood, creating a web-like pattern that threatened to shatter the very foundation of reality. As the cracks widened, a single, massive tentacle slithered out from the depths of the unknown.
Mordred couldn't hide her surprise when she saw the familiar tentacle. She was shocked. Even though she could only see the tentacles, she was pretty sure this creature was the same one that appeared at Romania Connection Point!
"So the incident at that connection point was also..." she clenched her fists tightly.
"The thing in Romania was Kiara's welcoming gift. This is its real body," he laughed coldly. But Shudde M'ell let out a deafening roar, and its massive tentacle charged towards Sixth Seat instead.
At that moment, he took out a doll, and the creature's massive tentacle was forcibly turned towards Demonic Bodhisattva. In return, she unleashed countless hands toward the tentacle. Boom! A huge explosion rang out, and the earth cracked as the tentacle smashed Demonic Bodhisattva to the ground, blasting the area to bits.
Sixth Seat seized the chance and charged towards Mordred. She gripped her sword tighter in one hand and clutched the Grail in the other. Suddenly, a thunderous roar echoed through the sky. The next moment, as if shaken by an invisible force, a distant iceberg split apart, and a beam of white light shot up into the sky. Lightning flashed, and a dazzling rainbow, like a ribbon, divided the sky. Beautiful auroras enveloped Iceland, and the crystal-clear icebergs beneath them shimmered with a flowing, dazzling light, creating a romantic, dreamy atmosphere.
Sixth Seat's body froze as he looked up at the auroras that split the sky. "Has it already begun?"
A black mist burst out from under Sixth Seat's black cloak, blocking Mordred's sword and preventing it from moving an inch.
"You think you can hurt me?" Sixth Seat sneered. Another black mist burst out from under his right sleeve, snatching at her Grail.
"In your dreams!" she responded coldly.
Suddenly, a terrifying piercing sound rang out from Sixth Seat's abdomen. He looked down in disbelief, only to see a pale hand piercing his chest.
After repelling Mordred, he turned to look at Kiara. She was tightly bound by tentacles, covered in acid. On the other side of the cracks, an extremely eerie howl rang out, and the massive tentacle that had bound Kiara tightened, seemingly intending to drag her to the other side.
The Grail in Mordred's hand glowed with a strange light, and more pale hands poured down towards the Sixth Seat.
Demonic Bodhisattva's mind was now controlled by Mordred. She had completely lost the instinct to protect herself and ignored the tentacle dragging her body toward the sinister cracks in space. Instead, she purely focused on launching an attack on Sixth Seat.
Sixth Seat's figure moved slightly, and a murderous dragon's roar emanated from within his body. In an instant, countless black mists resembling dragon heads split out from his back, easily intercepting the oncoming pale hands.
"I was just following the orders of the Council Head to assist Surtr. However, since this situation has occurred... well, I'll just destroy all of you."
As soon as he finished speaking, Sixth Seat's body emitted a dazzling glow. Instantly, his body split out countless divine weapons with terrifying divinity, rotating around him as he stood in the sky, looking down on Mordred.

That Grail is something else. And Mordred is no slouch.
