IBHJ Chapter 989

Cu Chulainn led Shirou and the others to a commercial building. He pointed at it and said, "My Master, Reiroukan Misaya, is inside."

"I see," Shirou nodded.

As they were about to enter, Cu Chulainn held out his hand to stop them, saying, "There are traps set by my Master inside. Let me lead the way."

They looked at each other, then nodded. "Okay, lead the way."

With Cu Chulainn showing them where to step, Shirou and the others easily avoided all the traps as they entered the building.

Meanwhile, inside...

"What is that stupid dog doing?!"

Watching the scene outside through a crystal, Reiroukan Misaya rolled back and forth on the bed in frustration.

Misaya comes from Reiroukan family. She's Lancer's Master in the Shinjuku Holy Grail War. She's beautiful, rich, and smart - pretty much perfect in every way. But she has one big flaw: she's a total pervert.

Still, Misaya isn't just any pervert. She's proud, beautiful, and cruel, taking pleasure in the suffering of handsome young men. Unlike the pure perversion of Manaka Sajou, Misaya's tastes are more... refined.

Misaya joined the Shinjuku Holy Grail War because of what she thought was a curse from her father eight years ago: "You'll die if you don't become a Master and win the Holy Grail." But the truth is far darker. It wasn't her father who cursed her - it was Manaka.

Misaya's father spent years trying to break the curse on his daughter. In the end, Manaka killed him for his efforts. But karma caught up with Manaka when Arthur betrayed her, stabbing her in the back and sending her down into the Greater Grail. Of course, this all happened before Fujimaru Shirou got involved in the Shinjuku War.

When Misaya entered the Holy Grail War, she summoned Lancer Cu Chulainn. Her first move was to send her familiar and Cu Chulainn to attack Ayaka. But things didn't go as planned. Ayaka summoned Saber, who easily drove Cu Chulainn back.

As if things weren't bad enough, Misaya's luck went from bad to worse. That night, while controlling her familiars from the club room, she found herself being chased by Rider. In her panic, she ran into a seemingly ordinary bookworm from the Economics Department.

Misaya's plan was simple: use the bookworm as a human shield against Rider. But fate had other ideas. Somehow, the Holy Grail recognized this unassuming student as a qualified Master. In a twist of incredible luck, the bookworm activated a summoning ritual at just the right moment, summoning an ancient hero king who easily defeated Rider.

Backed into a corner, Misaya tried to play nice. She figured she'd pose as a helpful ally, explaining the Holy Grail War rules to this newbie Master. It was her best shot at survival. But the bookworm saw right through her act.

To her shock, this supposed novice knew more about the Holy Grail War than she did - even about her curse. Misaya felt her world crumbling around her. She was completely at this stranger's mercy.

But the bookworm didn't kill her. Instead, he said flatly, "Even if I do nothing, you'll die in the end anyway. Besides, I don't have an alibi right now. If you die here, I'll be the prime suspect. Human prejudice is like a mountain - once it's there, it's nearly impossible to shift. I don't want any suspicion in my file. It would be bad for my future plans."

With those chilling words, the bookworm left, with the intrigued hero king following close behind him.

A week had passed since that encounter with the bookworm, and Misaya's situation had only gotten worse. Now, as she watched her own Servant leading her enemies straight to her, she was filled with despair.

"Useless," Misaya spat, her words as sharp as knives despite her sweet appearance. But insulting Cu Chulainn wouldn't help her now. She needed an escape plan, and fast.

Her eyes darted around the room, desperately seeking anything that might help. Then she saw it - a white janitor's uniform and a garbage cart. She gritted her teeth, a determined glint in her eye. It wasn't ideal, but it was her best shot.

...

"So, in the end, you tried to sneak out disguised as a cleaning lady?" Shirou looked down at Misaya with an unimpressed expression.

She was tied up tightly by [Evil], still wearing the janitor's uniform she'd hoped would be her ticket to freedom.

"Damn it!" Misaya snarled, her teeth clenched as she glared at him.

Her plan had been perfect, or so she thought. Swallowing her pride, she'd donned the cleaning service uniform and pushed that foul-smelling garbage cart, trying to slip out unnoticed. At first, it seemed to work like a charm. Two of Shirou's companions had been completely fooled, and even Cu Chulainn hadn't recognized her. Victory had been within reach.

Just as she was about to escape triumphantly, Shirou easily caught her with a black rope and tied her up.

Nearby, Sik and Sac muttered to each other, "Why is the boss of this dungeon so weak? Then why are those people so wary of this map?"

Shirou looked down at his captive. Misaya's long, black hair clung to her delicate face, framing a pair of striking wine-red eyes. She was, without a doubt, a classic Eastern beauty. He reached out, lifting her chin gently and tilting her face left and right. His serious expression made it seem as if he were appraising a work of art.

"She really does look like Rin," he murmured. "No wonder she's Rin's prototype."

"You freak!" Misaya spat, her eyes wide with fury. "If you're going to kill me, just do it. Don't insult me like this!" Being betrayed by her Servant was bad enough, but this felt even worse.

Shirou's lips curved into a slight smile. With a snap of his fingers, the black rope binding her suddenly dissolved.

Not only Misaya but also Sac and Sik were stunned. "What are you doing?"

He turned to them, "My friends, even monsters can be useful to us."

There was a moment of confused silence before they pointed at Misaya. "You mean... even such a weak monster has some value?"

Misaya heard this and her forehead was covered with veins. What did they mean by "such a weak monster"?

Of course, although she was dissatisfied, Misaya didn't say anything. She knew from Cu Chulainn that these people weren't human. The one with the hand axe was even a beast man - a race she'd thought had been wiped out along with the monsters of the Goddess of Beginning by the gods in ancient Mesopotamia.

Just as she was about to speak, Misaya's eyes suddenly widened, as if she was having a heart attack. She clutched her chest and wailed.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Shirou asked, alarm evident in his voice as he crouched down towards her.

Without warning, a jet of black substance shot out from Misaya's chest at an incredible speed. He barely had time to process what was happening before his [Evil] instinctively spread out like a protective net in front of him.

But it wasn't enough. With a sickening "swoosh," the black substance tore through [Evil] as if it were paper, speeding straight for his face. In a split-second reaction, he jerked his head to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. The black mass sailed past him and struck Sik, who was standing behind.

"Ah!" Sik let out a scream.

Shirou whirled around, his eyes widening as he finally saw the black substance clearly. It wasn't just any object - it was a lump of black mud. A chill ran down his spine as he realized its eerily familiar appearance. It looked almost identical to the mud tide of the Dark Vortex he had seen at the connection point in Shinjuku!

That is problematic.

Weak to something that can win against UOS.

NaitSabes Selaravi

To be honest, im getting tired of his mud losing again. This time, a seemingly similar mud made its way to Shirou and still, Shirous Mud fail to protect him. First, failed against lord of salvation And now, a random mud For an artifact that is capable of stealing Divine authorities and Noble phantasm, its a bit weak
