Poll on the relationship between file size - quality of textures
Added 2025-01-08 21:16:54 +0000 UTCI think one of the most important things is the opinion of my supporters to improve the experience in this patreon as best as possible. There are certain topics that I consider, are important to improve that experience. In this poll I would like to know your opinion about the size in mb of the models -in relation to quality of textures. For example, If the size are lower you can have more models in your PC without filling up your HD, on the other side textures become blurry on lower resolutions, specially on 1024px or lower. Sarah Aran Biker for example has a size of 74mb compressed and 100mb aprox. uncompressed, that means that with 14 compressed models like this, you would have 1gb in your PC. If her textures are downscaled to 1024px, the compressed file is just 38mb, that means aprox. 25 compresed files becomes 1gb. File size is affected too by the quatity of formats offered (XPS, FBX, BLEND).
