The ankle part of Liem's blown leg remained.
The RotationPlasty procedure was possible, but liem's village was not realized because hospitals were very far away and there were no medical professionals around.
Liem was rescued by the villagers, receiving only simple first aid, and the stump was sealed with a bandage. Her shattered legs were properly disposed of and discarded.
Later, when Liem's bleeding stopped and she came to her senses, people thought she would recover soon. Residents changed her bandages, gave her crutches and sent her back to leisure.
However, with too simple medical measures, Liem became ill again. Her stump was rotten and she suffered from a high fever and vomiting.
Residents drove her to a hospital downtown. The hospital said she could lose her life if she didn't cut her rotten stump, and immediately proceeded with the surgery.
After the surgery, Liem lost her right leg completely. She was finally healthy, but two cuts also caused her phantom pain to overlap twice.
