but a new buzz-saw demo should be out next week. I'm redesigning the world and adding new rooms. Keeping most of the old ones, but extending the game and mixing things up a bit. Also adding some new traps.
The killer can spawn almost anywhere now and chases you through the traps. Balancing his speed is the tough part - he forces you to think and move quick. But if he moves too fast and kills you repeatedly, the game could get very frustrating (as if it isn't already). I'm trying to balance his speed based on the room - if there's nothing around, he might run at PDM speeds, but if you're in a room with tons of saws, he may walk very slowly.
The killer is spawned by tips in the chat. I don't have this coded yet, but basically a chatroulette type of system, where people in the room tip and when the counter reaches it's goal, the killer will attack. So you can anticipate your impending doom.
