THE ISLAND POSTPONED.....JUST FOR A BIT

Hi Guys

Just wanted to inform you that "The Island" Comic will be postponed for the time being. My main 22 Inch Huion Pen display got busted some days back so I am using my smaller 15 inch UGEE for the moment with a heavily taped "Frankenstein Monster" stylus that I constantly take apart to minor repairs. I have to replace my Huion display. 

Since I live in the middle of Africa with no market for Digital art accessories let alone PC accessories, I will have to order a pen display from the USA. It should not only be of high quality, but it should last as well. And that pen display will be the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24.

Naturally, if I am to buy the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 Pen Display, I will have to earn it.  I will be doing commission work for the next few days but I will still be posting exclusive single pictures as normal for the main Patrons as well as those in the Reward Tiers so you won't be left out at all. 

The thing about Chinese Pen displays, although pretty good, often don't quite last long when it comes to wear and tear, especially for an artist who draws almost every day. I am now raising funds to purchase a the Wacom Cintiq Pro which will set me back for under $2200.00. Thanks to your pledges, you have brought me a lot closer to purchasing the device by a few hundred dollars. However, buying the Wacom is one thing but shipping it will be another as I will pay for shipping well as paying for my country's atrociously high import taxes when it arrives. The higher the item's value, the higher the taxes. 

Benefits of using a 24 inch Wacom pen display is that I will have a larger canvas to work on (especially in comics), detailing will be a lot easier and most importantly..........it will last a lot longer than the Chinese alternatives I have been buying for the past few years. 

Since I am in a groove in comic making again after a long hiatus, I have big plans to make more muscle growth comics this year and hopefully (dare I say) sell one commercially....if I find the appropriate outlet. The Wacom Cintq Pro 24 (although stupidly expensive) will be the best tool to do it. After all I am a Professional Artist. :) 

After acquiring the device, the comic will go on and it will continue to the Futa Tier then then finally into the male Muscle Tier.
