Early Access: plot of chapter FIVE

Hey everyone!

Time to let you know a bit of what happens in Chapter FIVE of When the Dust Settles. This chapter's winning prompt, submitted by one of you wonderful Morningstar Patreons, was:

Even though CH04 is still in production (halfway there in fact xD), CH05 is FULLY WRITTEN and in its storyboard phase as I type this c: So we're ready to start sharing a bit about its plot!

Like I've done for previous chapters' sneak peeks, in this post I'm including some REAL, VERY ROUGH SKETCHES of the comic storyboard (this is my way of saying they're ugly lmao). Once the chapter is complete, I'll add the finished pages so we can see the evolution of the art xD I feel like this is kinda fun and I'm actually enjoying a lot sharing my process here with you guys. Hope you like that too!

Things that happen in this chapter (in no particular order):

Angel makes a deal. Husk makes a bet. Everybody fucking loses.

Husk reminds Angel that he's not, in fact, a teenager anymore.

Angel is not allowed to take Husk with him. It's in the rules.

Charlie shows how much she knows about celebrities.

Husk follows the rules.

Husk cheats.

Husk hides Angel's stuff. He's done this before.

Someone gets down on one knee (finally).

Angel is wasted as a porn actor.

Fat Nuggets is SICK. AND TIRED. OF THE DISRESPECT--

Circumstances get beyond Husk's control: his hands are tied.

There's not a breadstick in sight.

"Obey or Die"

People love Mommy more than Daddy (classic).

"NO GAMBLING AT THE HOTEL".

Take a shot everytime you hear "Yes sir".

Angel resorts to violence.

At least two (2) of the Hotel guests like bad boys.

Niffty shows her support to Angel. Angel smashes Niffty's drink on the floor.

Sigh ...Not the skirt.
