omg that's so cute thank you so much!! <3 also yes!! i haven't seen the rest of the show but i was debating whether to watch it with alex or just binge watch the rest for a video? I guess I'll see if i run out of ideas for videos anytime soon lol i think ill probably end up liking it just for its binge-worthy ness but then ive also heard the characters can kind of be annoying at times so well see christmas is the only time youll get the social spirit out of me lol
2020-11-21 18:35:07 +0000 UTCi watched this show today just so i could watch your reaction to it. i was gonna wait til closer to christmas but figured what the hell. i spent the first 3 episodes waffling over if i liked it or not, but it eventually grew on me. i would love commentaries if you feel like doing them but i won’t be upset if you just binge it instead. your excitement about the strand was cute! i was the same way except i’ve never been but i just have always wanted to go. “christmas is the one day i actually want to socialize” - literally the most me statement

2020-11-21 08:41:23 +0000 UTCi can definitely see where the pretentiousness is even after just watching episode one! the only reason i gave it a shot is because netflix were NON STOP promoting it and i had to check it out. I'd heard good things about the book so i was hopeful for the show but i think it's one i'll definitely binge in one day lol

I usually love Christmas stuff, like give me all the corny stuff it’s heartwarming and the cynic always becomes a believer etc. I gave it 4 episodes and had to give up 😞 the characters were all just SO PRETENTIOUS, no chemistry, and it wasn’t so cheesy I could brush everything off and just watch it for the laugh but it wasn’t serious enough to see anything in depth 😕 it was just meh... which is so disappointing because I loved the look of the trailer and heard so many good things!
