"Santana is literally one of my favorite characters in TV ever...potentially...I'll get back to you at the end of this show to let you know if that's change" - Bexius In my opinion if you already love Santana now you are going to love her more by the end of the show. Not giving away any specific spoilers but I personally think she was one of the few characters on Glee that had great character development we see her be vulnerable, scared, and angry as she struggles to come to terms with her sexuality (which is a storyline that continues into next season) and she definitely becomes a better friend to her friends from Glee as the seasons progress. Since you love Santana you will probably love Season 3. Santana is the character that sings the most in season 3 and she is a part of some great covers next season. There are 4 covers specifically that Santana is a part of next season that are easily within my top 25 favorite covers from Glee (with one of those covers that Santana is a part next season easily being my favorite cover of all the songs done on Glee).
