He struggled to get out, beating the walls with fists and kicks, but to no avail. The last thing he could recall was being ambushed by the mad scientist and his droids. As he fought for freedom, he was unaware of the danger that lurked outside his prison.
"Begin the test"
"Under. Stood. Sir."
The chamber started to get colder and colder. The hero shivered. Suddenly, before he knew it, his prison was filled with a thick, suffocating steam. metallic particles clung to his body, eating away any inorganic material, transforming flesh. He let out one last angry cry of defiance before he was silenced.
The doors of the Doctor's newest machine opened up and out rolled the slab of carbonite, with the hero perfectly preserved. The hero's heart still beat within the metal, his consciousness aware and unblinking. The experiment was a success and now, anyone who stood in his way will line the walls of his lab forever.
