My Dearest Patrons & Farlanders!

As you may have heard, and certainly know if you viewed this week's Twitch Twednesday livestream, I have decided to take a personal hiatus from making new videos or livestreams for the remainder of May. I attempt to explain reasons in today's Far Lands or Bust episode, so I'll refrain from repeating them here, but I am confident this "Kurtbatical" will help me and my work in the long-run. So far your responses and words of encouragement have reinforced this to me, and I greatly appreciate your understanding and patience!

What does this mean for Patrons?

Of course, if during this month's lack of content, or if at any time, you feel as though you are not getting your pledge's value in return, you may change or cancel your Patronage as you see fit. When, on the 1st of the month, Patreon begins charging you for your pledges, they do so for the previous month's work. So, on June 1st, your pledge goes to support the work for the month of May. I've not had any problems with this in the past, but I just want to make sure we're all 100% clear!

Regardless of this, my plan is to use some of the time I normally dedicate to recording, editing, and uploading content to focus on catching up with Patreon rewards and maintenance. I am working to fix the Patron Minecraft Server whitelist problem that has prevented me from adding new members to the server and should have everyone who needs to be added on the list by the beginning of next week. Additionally, a large part of taking hiatus from recording content is to "re-discover" playing games simply for fun! So, I intend to spend time myself playing on the Patron Minecraft server, helping with builds, just having fun without needing to entertain... so I hope to see some of you there as I do so!
