Touches like Rick being wary of the scam but not quite grokking that isolating Henry serves the demons just as well really do a lot to sell him as bright, but also inexperienced and out of his depth considering what kind of types he has to deal with. And since I'm very much not certain Rick could afford to try and help Henry out of this even if he did notice, this whole thing just makes me feel a lot for everyone involved. Thanks for the chapter!
