Into September

For one, my job hunt in real life continues, though things at my current job seem to be slightly stabilized. Basically this is a good thing: I'd rather have the stability to take my time and only find a job that works with my experience level and education (I work as an art therapist, have an MA and 6 years in the field) than settle for a lower posting just to 'escape' this site.
As for the game, I posted the announcement about the next level yesterday: cyber-therapy. The idea kind of came at random but I think it will be worth it. It will require some new art assets for 'cyber' versions of otherwise already-done things like doors and locks and items but that's cool if it helps with the vibe.
The new enemy for this month will be the Cyber-Cat. Originally I wasn't planning on every level having a unique new enemy and I may not have enough ideas for all levels but at least the first couple I think should have progressive new enemies to introduce. The Cyber-Cat is an ambush enemy, hidden invisibly until they warp in with an audio cue.
Time wise it's a fairly normal month. I was not-so-subtly asked to use some of my vacation days at work (I think they're worried I'll hold them all until late November and bail through the holidays), so I took off 3 days near the end of the month for a sort of mini-vacation five day weekend. Should be a good time to hammer out some programming.
