Update and a Halloween Game

Hey all. Sorry to be so quiet for most of this month. I would like to update everyone who isn't in Discord (and thus  hearing  me whine constantly) about what projects are on and what's going on IRL.

First the IRL:

As some people may be aware, my day job has been less than stable. I'm not at risk of unemployment or anything but the company I work for is circling the drain and it's a bad time to be there so I was looking to move. This has been the case since about May and finally it seems to have been resolved as I was hired by my country's government to do my job for them. This is generally speaking a really, really good thing: federal jobs pay better and have excellent benefits. The downside to my Patreon for this month has been the constant and prolonged process of starting: medical check-ups, background checks, paperwork, all sorts of stuff eating into my free time usually spent on art and programming. Thankfully at this point it seems like I'm largely done and just waiting to hear back. I anticipate some delays in work once the new job starts as I get comfortable there but I guess the gist is it's all a strain but for a good reason.

Second, projects:

So for this month I was torn between trying to hustle out a game update or working on something halloween related. Ultimately I decided I would like to make a small game release related to Halloween because it's my favorite holiday. This is mostly informed by the IRL stuff above: given the short time frame, I feel like there wouldn't be enough time to polish up a level for Anthro Asylum. I'd rather the quality of levels for that remain consistent. As a result my goal for the remainder of the month looks like this:

Saturday 10/19: Finish a commission
Sunday 10/20: Sketch out two more commissions, make a personal piece.
Weekdays: Halloween game project
Wednesdays: Night off (Dungeons and Dragons)
