Pixel Arcade
Added 2021-02-27 12:07:02 +0000 UTCI made an arcade cabinet as a sort of starter for my new game idea for after AA (the one I mentioned earlier this week. Making pixel seams line up in 3d is way more work than I thought but I figure it'll get easier. You'd be distressed how long this one took but I'm sure that's my lacking workflow for aligning everything. It'll get easier. The sides around the screen didn't come out quite right and I'm guessing with rhombuses I just need to fiddle with them over and over until they look as right as squares in a non-square can be. I rendered a spiffy little turnaround animation in blender but I'm not sure how to upload it since you can't put videos directly into Patreon, just links so I'll figure it out in the future. Still, it's cool to finally be up to making models with, you know, textures.
