Chun-Li 12# wip

Hello to all my dear patrons!

Just checking in, I’ll use this post to give updates instead of creating a new one, since honestly, it would feel a bit wasteful.

So… what happened? Why hasn’t the set come out yet? Will it be released this month? To answer the last question first: yes, 100% yes. As for everything else, I want to clarify that everything is in order.

The text (ENGLISH VERSION) is already done. I’ve used the betas to put the dialogues exactly where they should be. The pinup versions with their alts are ready too, some even shaved.

So what’s left? Honestly… I’m just waiting for the images to finish rendering—that’s literally it.

This two, for example, took 33 and 39 minutes respectively.

I admit I underestimated the time it would take. Some images take 23 minutes, others up to 40 , and I can’t always render them one by one instantly.
Sometimes I start a render, go clean the house or cook something, pass time with the wife, come back an hour later, and the render took, say, 42 minutes—so that’s 18 minutes “lost,” but everything is saved properly and star making another.

Others are great and take 24 minutes, so I sit in front of the computer because when I'm rendering scenes this big, I can't do anything else but watch videos on YouTube while scratching my balls.
Sometimes even opening too many Photoshop tabs while doing renders, ends up causing those annoying beeps on my computer, telling me that I'm running out of RAM or V-Ram whatever, probably need a new pc idk and frozes every shit up.

And what if there’s a small error in the image? If it’s noticeable, I fix it, 1–5 minutes less, and then another 25-50+ minutes to re-render.

It doesn’t happen often, don't get the wrong idea, but it happens. The more images, the more it happens.

And honestly, not all my images are perfect. Many have tiny flaws that I notice but think, “Eh… it’s not a big deal,” and I let it slide.

I could go on giving reasons, but I understand that’s not what you want to read. For many, these will just sound like excuses, and I get that.

You’re completely entitled to be frustrated.

As I’ve always said, if anyone wants a refund, don’t hesitate. I won’t make a drama out of it, just send me a PM, and that’s it. I truly mean it.

If you subscribed a couple of months ago waiting for the set, the same applies, if you feel it’s fair, request a refund for the months you consider unnecessary—but KEEP THE DRIVE LINK TO THE ARCHIVE, I WON’T CHANGE IT, so you can access the set whenever you want once it’s finished. That’s why it takes time to update the links.

I’ll make another post talking more about this in detail once the set is up, because I know many of you are frustrated, or might think the worst of me—like I’m doing this on purpose, or trying to scam you.
I’ve even seen comments saying that the money or fame “has gone to my head”… xD. Tbh, I deeply value all the support you’ve given me. Thanks to it, I’ve been able to build a decent life here in my country.
But I don’t feel, in my humble opinion, that the money or exposure I have is enough to go to my head, it would take a teenager, maybe, and I say this with respect, I mean... I really appreciate what you've given me, but for it to go to my head? That's an amount of money that I don't think even Nyl makes...
(Thinking about it, I think for now I can think of those guys from the Fallen Doll project. I think those dudes are already making millions, but even they seem pretty down to earth.)

And talking of money, when I take this long to post a new set, I actually lose money, and i like money.

But I understand, truly. I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart. Many might think these are just words, but I honestly feel embarrassed when it takes this long. I get tense, frustrated with myself, and I don’t like it. That’s why sometimes I don’t even post updates or shit on twitter—it’s embarrassing. How can I come here and say, “It’s going to take longer”? or attract new supporters, It’s not an excuse, but I want to explain why it happens. I’ll talk more about that in another post.

For now, as I said, the set WILL BE READY THIS MONTH, 100%. I just need to render the remaining images. I thought it would be done last week, but I was wrong—sorry.

I’ve been in situations like this before, so I can confidently say it will be ready this month.

That’s all for now. Later, I’ll talk more in-depth about this, and also about some changes I’ll make regarding the length of my sets. Honestly, doing sets this big is more of a personal preference, and it can be really time-consuming, I'm just fucking myself over by doing it. Rendering and reviewing it is… a mess, tbh.

And yeah, I also get the ones who are like, “Man, fuck this guy, it’s taking forever D: where’s my Chun-Li dosis?!” — I get you, honestly. I’ve been a consumer too. As long as it doesn’t turn into spamming, it’s all good. Say what you need to say, I read everything. It stings, but that’s on me, it reminds me I’m not delivering what I should be.
