2022-08-18 17:51:50 +0000 UTCJody you’re a bit confused on how the reaper death seal works which is understandable but when the hokage was saying the seal took his jutsu he meant that figuratively he’s not saying all his moves are gone just that his arms are because with the way the jutsu works the caster can only take as much of the enemies soul as they have in chakra levels. So for example if I have a chakra level of 80 left, I can only take 80% of your soul leaving you with just your soul (leaving just your arms or something) so because the hokage was so weak at the time he only took enough to kills orochimaru’s arms so that he could never make hands signs and never make another jutsu.
