2022-08-26 17:09:58 +0000 UTCThe birthed chimera ants take on the properties of anything the queen eats. That's why you have lions and cheetahs with insectoid parts. It's basically giving an already strong insect (Kite said the bite and sting of a tiny one in its original state was dangerous to all humans) the combined force and abilities of certain animals as well as the intelligence and ability to adapt and evolve that humans have. Them introducing such an OP species and making them the primary focus in the same season feels very rushed.
