Im fine with the pausing too but why dont you wait for the scene to clear then pause. Alot of the questions you have asked are told right when you unpause. It's understandable if you cant wait until it ends you may lose the thought but yeah waiting for the scene to finsh is better getting the whole dialogue and give your thoughts on what you just heard unless its something huge like itachi being stronger then orochimaru or a name drop reveal etc.
