Sasuke has only won 1 fight in the prelims without relying on his sharingan or curse mark and thats it. The Nine Tails has never helped Naruto overcome a boundary, training did that. He is all heart, no shortcuts.

2022-09-11 08:14:45 +0000 UTCThe one thing I'll say about Sasuke is that we knew he was all about revenge from the very beginning. That rarely leads to anything good when a character is solely focused on revenge. Add that to the fact that he knows he needs to be more powerful in order to carry out that revenge, and we now have double the issue because he's focused on power AND revenge. Sure he's made friends with Sakura and Naruto but that didn't stop the hatred in his heart. Him and Naruto was bound to have this fight eventually with their rivalry.
