I don't buy it either. I was done with Sasuke alread at this point. He wasn't even in the show that much like he was in Naruto so I lost interest in him. He chose to leave so let him.

2022-12-21 05:04:02 +0000 UTCI think the biggest mistake kishimoto made was ending the og series too quickly imo. The 50+ filler eps that follow the Sasuke retrieval arc should’ve been cannon missions team 7 went on and also should’ve taken place prior to the Sasuke retrieval arc. It would’ve built the relationship the team as a whole felt for Sasuke much better, as apposed to having a single mission essentially (Zabuza arc) where they bond and then proceed to the rest of the story.
