They should've stab that head before going to sweetheart Rin after he fell down from the slash or just one of them hang back slightly and end that head they had time...but yeah it's meant to happen with him causing the cave-in for the story and they thought they finished him, but yeah the first slash didn't finish the other guy either and that was worse of a body slash visually then the more of a shoulder slash Kakashi did to the second abductor.

2022-10-09 21:11:19 +0000 UTCFor everyone confused, these 2 episodes are stuff that Kishimoto put before Naruto returned from the timeskip in the manga. He intended for this to be told before the Shippuden story but the anime studio messed it up. I also believe this is better for the story structure as it was originally dropped without warning in the middle of an arc that had nothing to do with it. There really was no build up or anticipation to it in Shippuden prior so I don’t really know what y’all are talking about lol. The only thing I think could’ve been explained better if watched in the normal order was that commonly medical ninjutsu can’t just bring back back to life or heal them from the brink of death. That fish was taken out of the water and Sakura had to heal it’s lungs so it would breathe again before dying completely. It wasn’t just dead for weeks and she brought it back.
