Interesting point about this page is the first panel. Original script just has Marian handing out the phone to Whinter. And as I worked on the page layout, it was clear the second panel needed a lot of space for all the dialog Marian had. Thus, the first panel became really tall. I made it work with having a nice tree shot but it did feel empty still. This inspired me to add some extra dialog and thus Whinter thinking Marian was also handing him gifts happened.
This is a nice example of me keeping the script always alive and how new ideas can happen while I draw the page.
Logan's smug face is also a higlight of this page. So have a close up of that.
