Added 2024-01-24 19:41:12 +0000 UTCdoing research for the devonian video (which will be out in like a month) and i had remembered learning about how incredible the actual STORY of finding tiktaalik was in my paleontology class. i just came across this video, one of the discoverers of Tiktaalik, Neil Shubin, explaining the whole story. i don't think i'll be mentioning it much in the video for the sake of keeping each section concise, but honestly might be worth making a separate video dedicated to Tiktaalik. hopefully i could get in contact with Neil too because his energy and passion for this discovery is amazing. sorry if this is hard to read, my brain is going a mile a minute and i am excited hahaha. lmk what you think of the video!
