There are plenty of stories where you can tell the character is going to BECOME OP, but reading the last few paragraphs of this chapter, knowing that in most books it would set off potentially an entire book series of struggle and hardship for the MC, and yet also knowing the theme of this book means she can simply power-jump to the Kingdom of Kal and bitch-slap the royals to recant their war declaration, is some bit of a relief. I can't help but wonder if it doesn't appeal to that part of us that wishes we could do the same in our own lives, instead of fighting the long fight to accomplish what needs done.
