Were there basic things we would expect in high class food on Earth that were missing there? Could she get someone to help her by doing a blind taste test with her, five chefs of various levels, and participants who do not have skills relates to food or identifying if skills were used in a creation? I love the overall concept of skill bigotry but want to see it delves into more deeply, to see how much is amelia’s perception vs how much is skill bigotry vs how much the system fucks with peoples perception of reality. Like: maybe the fish tastes bad to her because the system boosts perception of food quality but only if you are part of the system?
