2022-12-20 08:27:54 +0000 UTCYou know, I am loving the pace of the things that are happening. And this fight between Jaakko, Helen and Zack against this Demon reminded me of my D&D games, of a party doing lot of damage to one singular enemy and managing to win because they do more stuff than 1 enemy in the same amount of time. But then.... this guy isn't even a combat specialist like most Demons huh, he tame wild demons to do his bidding? that is quite strong and he can pack a punch against humans too.

2022-10-23 21:44:46 +0000 UTCI think this has been a consistent theme. If level differences weren't so large, then Salvos would'nt be out here killing hundreds of swarm enemies at a time just cus they're like 30 levels below her. and look at the city seige - like 5 arch demons took on a city of what seemed like a million combatants across multiple gathered armies.

2022-10-23 20:53:34 +0000 UTCYou're right, I got the impression that the alternate POVs during this invasion of Inoria are supposed to show the several millions, unless melasd is happy to keep the several millions just seeming like rows of stormtroopers that don't matter.

2022-10-23 20:43:18 +0000 UTCThere are a lot of low level humans - several millions. But high levels combatants, diamonds and up, is just about a 1000 total. There are a lot more demons of such levels but most are wild and only a small portion are transferred to the mortal realm.

2022-10-23 20:35:09 +0000 UTCHmm, the pacing is impeccable, but im not sure if the impression you're giving is what you intend, across the last 3 large conflicts I think we have followed Jaako and friends as "a perspective from ground zero", but the repetition of the alternate point of view and the fact that Jaako and friends don't seem to really have their own character arcs or large development or growth (and I don't mean just leveling up) makes the wars and the world in general seem smaller. I'm starting to wonder if the scale of the conflict is something like 1000s vs 1000s.
