I would piss myself laughing if Regnorex tried to kill Salvos and both Samuel and Belphegor teleported in with pitchforks, along the lines of "don't you dare threaten my daughter in my kingdom, you bitch usurper you. It's been a while but the true king is back". :)

Not sure how long though. But i agree regnorex, is not a winnable fight at the moment. The best option would be to disturb the ritual, so they get another ~8 years.

2023-12-10 19:45:37 +0000 UTCSo basically a day had past since she entrapped the Deathsquadders, and her species grand skill is out. How long is the cooldown now, still 3 weeks? That was with the normal title, let's say it was a month without, -50% with the corrupted title, basically two weeks cooldown before it makes sense for her to fight someone on her upper limits. How much till Regnorex starts his plan? Also, does cooldown reset on class advancement? She will fight level 190 things without her grand skill in order to level up. Two weeks both is and isn't a long time. I can see her levelling up to 170, having class advancement, and trying to resolve emotional drama with Taburas in that time. Haec might level up some as well, and that's important because she's not fighting alone, and Haec is stronger than the average bear, so that's good. He can be enough of an asset to distract Regnorex in a fight for long enough for her to pull off something along the lines of corruption or space magic. The main problem is haste; there is a fixed timeline determined by Regnorex's plans, which forces her hand, and she would have to have the major fight of the last few millennia before she's ready for it. This sounds worse than fighting level 160 Belzu when she was level 105 without grand skills. No, I don't think this is winnable by brute force in the given timeline and without major good news for her. Yes, she's always having exactly that kind of fights, and Sal told Reggie "she could be a threat even to you" when she was significantly weaker, but she doesn't have human potions, she doesn't have enhancing artefacts, she doesn't have reliable friends who could heal her or get her out of the fight if injured, and she would fight in his domain. This is just bad. I actually expect her to die, and then very hopefully get true immortality feature from the System or something, because what she is actually trying to do is fix the world, but without adequate means, and I would expect the same "someone" who gave her the lesser god path to recognise that and give her a hand, because she is not fighting a selfish battle here and it would be only fair.

2023-12-10 18:05:46 +0000 UTCShe simply can't do that. Her skills aren't capable of it and you want her to write a scroll? She can teleport only to places nearby or ones she's connected with. And even if she could somehow perform the teleportation, sending a primordial via such a portal is a nigh impossible task if it doesn't want to.

2023-12-10 12:40:23 +0000 UTCI was just thinking how the best bet for Salvos against Regnorex would be to weaponise space magic against him, for instance by creating a single-use scroll that would teleport the target between the planes of Nexeus or into the second level, because he would be exceedingly unlikely to survive that. Something that can be activated quickly, like a trap that is pre-set and ready to be sprung at any moment. Don't fight that fool where he is, fight him where he ain't.

However, I'm more interested at her upgrade choices at level 150 in her class, because that seems to be the spot where the magic happens, considering how the Watcher seems to really want to upgrade his trading class to 150, or at least something of the sort is hinted. Also, level 150 seems to be where the archmages are, and Salvos has really been doing extreme things with her class which might give her options that are truly wild. Draconic Archmage of the Nexeus, for instance? Or, what I really really hope for, Lesser Worldly Administrator of the System. :)

2023-12-10 11:10:16 +0000 UTCFrom what I can tell, she's going to gather intel on all high-level wild demons roaming around, and she's going to kill them to level before facing Regnorex. BTW that thing being set on fire forever while being unable to die, that's nasty, similar to hunters wounding an animal and it having to limp along maimed. It's kind of irresponsible to use that weapon on something you aren't going to kill.
