2023-05-06 13:12:33 +0000 UTCMy guess is acquired resistance/immunity either through exposure or specialized Evolution in defense, damage reduction, HP or evasion. The bigger Demons probably have ungodly HP, regeneration and defense. The smaller ones have high evasion and premonition. Get hit enough times and barely survive, you would probably take steps to ensure your survival. The Demon king avoids the Revelation, so his Evolution went more into a power direction.

2023-05-05 19:29:18 +0000 UTCShifting into the mini world takes a bit of time, it is not instant. Similarly why she couldn't use Greater Teleport to escape, the attack was too fast. And I presume short-range teleport just doesn't have enough range to escape the massive attack.

So it is surprising that Deathsquad hunters are a very high level job. I'd expect lower level primeval demons to be sent against Archdemons. But apparently they are also sent against lower level demons as well.

My eyes grew wide as it unleashed fast— almost instantaneous attacks— that knocked all three of my clones out of the sky. I tried to parse what just happened, but it was behind me in an instant. >It screeched as it clapped its hands around me, and I braced myself. There was a flash. A pulse of energy my wisping iridescent aura flickered. The crushing blow was barely repelled by the aura of invulnerability around me. I gritted my teeth and swung forward with my Divine Nebular Scythe at its clawed hands. The aura barely held, so that Hellabomination is frankly pretty frickin' impressive so being able to strain a defensive grand skill like that.

2023-05-05 08:35:05 +0000 UTCI was thinking about this, 2 possible explanations 1) She still needs a small amount of time to create her pocket world, time during which particularly high-leveled enemies could attempt to attack or stop her or 2) If the enemy is high enough, they may be able to rip open her pocket world. At the very least, I can imagine at least Sal could break into her pocket world if he wanted, not sure about other people like Reggie.

2023-05-05 05:34:09 +0000 UTCNot quite; the Hellabomination during the final battle of the demon invasion caused Salvos’ GS to flicker briefly. And if I recall correctly the Basilisk’s petrifying gaze was making Salvos’ body slightly sluggish even when she was ‘invincible’.
