Two Year Patreon Anniversary!

Hello my wonderful patrons! While many of us stateside are prepping the near future for a long Thanksgiving weekend, I just wanted to drop a quick post with thanks of my own to all of you as I realized that (within a few days, at least) I launched this Patreon two years ago!

I know I've probably shared this rambling story a few times already, but, well, given that it's an anniversary, here I am to trot it out again. Once upon a time, I tried to make it as a writer who published the "traditional" way, and found that in spite of having a number of great opportunities, it's pretty fucking hard to make a living as an author, especially when publishers keep more than 90% of a book's earnings and expect the writer to do all the promotion these days. I started writing erotica because I'd always had a dirty mind, and I thought I could put my writing skills to work in a way people might actually read, and lo and behold, people did come, and they did read. The response to Senior Year Memories was crazier than I could have ever expected, and though I had my ups and downs with it (including a year-long hiatus), I am overall happy with the experience.

For the longest time, readers would tell me in an offhand way that if I ever put my stories up for sale, they'd buy them, so, nervous as hell I launched this Patreon, hoping that I might be able to garner enough interest from a couple-few readers that I could buy myself an extra coffee every now and then.

Two years later... well, I can buy a whole lot more than just the occasional coffee. Because of all of you and your support, day by day I actually inch closer to being able to making an actual living doing what I love. I'm not there yet, and it's a lot of work, but little by little I'm getting there, and it's because of all of you that I can say this. Every day I am in awe that you've all come to support me and my writing and this dirty, twisted little universe I've created.

Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping make my dream a possibility. I've still got a long way to go, but I've got a lot of words left in me, and more dirty adventures to write. It's been a great two years with all of you, and I'm looking forward to some of the fun this next one will bring.
