[Salvos] 710. The Sacrifice of Knowledge (Removed for KU)

(Removed for KU)

Comments

Oooh, now this is interesting. It's like claytons grand skill, but turned to eleven.

Salvos Enjoyer

I think that sounds too good to be true. But some additional experience might be in the cards. Maybe even some essence. In other words some of the raw materials, Not the finished product ;)

Dragonmaster_42

Jofis has the ability to absorb grand skills of others. It would be great if this ability came with a condition: whoever kills him, gets all that stuff transferred to them, together with the experience. Unlikely, but promising.

Danijel Turina

I can't stop finding this funny, it's as if someone could pull out terrible weapons at random and fire them at you, he fired a rail gun, then he pulled out an RPG, and then he prepares for the next one, everybody shits themselves thinking what's next, and he pulls out a hand grenade and frags himself. And everybody's like "WTF??" :)

Danijel Turina

Not necessarily. It just means he isn't a god. If I understand correctly, [wild divinity] essentially turns him into a lesser god for the duration of the skill.

AG

Alright I found a ref- wait, what do you mean he has something more powerful?!?! Someone call a technician because this man is a glitch in the [system]!

Zuuuuuri

"Temporary Grand Skill [Wild Divinity] Gained! That was right. The only Skills that worked within the confines of this antiskill domain were Divine Skills. Flakes of iridescent light wisped off the Winged Horror’s body as he let out a mindless roar. " - I would say this more-less proves that he normally doesn't have Divinity.

Danijel Turina

It's such a beautiful own-goal. :)

Danijel Turina

- Jofis cast anti-skill! - It is very effective against Hartia and his GS! - Salvos: "What's that supposed to do?" 😂

Dragonmaster_42

What a great opportunity for Salvos to learn a lot of new stuff! And then he goes and commits suicide... Well, Salvos did get to see [Divine Ember Impedus], [Armageddon Unleashed] and [Demon Mode], not to mention this anti skill field and [Wild Divinity], let's hope she can learn something from that and throw it at Manos!

Dragonmaster_42

"[Paimon the Slave - Lvl 203]... ...Because Jofis was a [Hellprince]. On the verge of becoming a [Hellking]... ...And yet, he survived. He killed her, becoming a [Hellking] and a Primordial Demon himself." So, basically, he was close to his present level when he killed a lvl 203 Primordial. Which means he's incredibly strong now, making this comparable to fighting a Primordial to Salvos. This Swiss army knife of GS is ridiculously OP.

Danijel Turina

It must be because of activating Pamion's GS, I see no other explanation for it. What it actually does, it's hard to tell, but probably enables the wielder to keep functioning inside what is very much like Clayton's antimagic field. Probably stronger, because most skills kept working inside Clayton's field.

Danijel Turina

Do U guys think the temporary GS is part of the knowledge GS and is a way to give a small(?) boost to the user? I say small because it gives the same boost as a GS of a Primeval and we were told those are equivalent to Primordial skills.

Gonvas

Hartia is completely vulnerable and the first priority for Salvos must be to evacuate him from the battlefield instantly, presumably into her [Prison of Isolation], which might piss him off but he'll be fine. Then return to Jofis and grind him into fine powder, because he's pissing everybody off already with all his bullshit advantages. :)

Danijel Turina

This skill take Hartia out the equation and most of his own skills I assume, Jofis might have handed salvos the win conditions she needed

Sivart

Yeah if salvos can still use all her skills he is fucked and when he deactivates the skill he is getting backlash from using it.

Tim

I think he's actually arrogant enough not to have bothered checking. Incredible, but I think he just assumed she's just another primeval demon lvl 169, nothing special there, and he doesn't know enough about True Divinity to be able to recognise it, so he basically just went out and fucked himself. Not that I'm complaining, because he was overpowered to the point that started looking ridiculous, basically pulling out all kinds of grand skills without apparent limitations, and I was just waiting for something to backfire badly, just because.

Danijel Turina

Wow, I don't know what I expected but this is completely different. :) I love it. Also, this is what one would call gaining a minor tactical advantage by sacrificing a major strategic one. First of all, they should be at the location where Salvos dissolved her pocket space, meaning between the planes of Nexeus, which also means he's dead. Unfortunately, Hartia can't wield space either so he's in no better position. Salvos should be fine, because she's a divine being and can probably wield space just fine. Also, both her GS are still intact, while Jofis lost all his advantages and is ripe for a total beatdown now. So, for the advantage of killing Lotus he inadvertently put himself in a comparatively desperate position relative to Salvos, because he didn't bother properly identifying her and understanding she's a God with Divine grand skills.

Danijel Turina

Tftc. Sealing all non-divine Skills might seem cool, but Jofis appears to have forgotten, that he is facing a (lesser) god. If he doesn't deactivate that skill fast he'll be in for a big "suprise". I wonder if it can block corruption skills, or if Salvos has nearly all of her arsenal still available
