[Salvos] 714. Unkillable (Removed for KU)

(Removed for KU)

Comments

[The Grand Fiendlord] sounds so appropriate until you remember it's an evolution he got at 150. Imagine someone like Salvos meeting [The Grand Fiendlord lvl. 150] and [The Elder Fiend lvl. 150] legion heads. She'd either piss herself laughing or just think "weak", kill them and get no levels, because weak. :)

If she cut all his arms off, would he have to change his name? :)

Manos (The Hands of Faith, 5th rate movie)

I've just been thinking - Jofis is no longer corrupted. The last time he was in between the planes, the only thing that saved him was the ability to use corruption to re-open the rift that Salvos closed. Just open the damn rift, yeet him between the planes and wait for the notification. As for the possible idea that he could resist this, he's no space mage, he can't resist jack shit.

Well, Haec is what, lvl 150? 154? She killed 25 Primevals around that level within hours and only got one level in her species and one in her class. That should put into perspective how much an "essence transfusion" from Haec can boost her. If he had the boost from a million demons, then we're talking.

Danijel Turina

Even if Jofis died and was reborn, (1) he shouldn't be uncorrupted or the fight against corruption 50k years ago seems implausible and (2) his neck is still too solid for what Salvos threw at it - so either [Corrupted Draconic Fury] does nothing or he is at least as strong as before. I won't say there is a plot hole yet but there are a few strange circumstances.

Dragonmaster_42

Given that essence is concerned, the subject of skills that only pop up at higher levels, the boost is a bit underwhelming. Is essence just less significant than we thought or is Haec's GS just weak in that regard? The boost allowed Salvos to... more or less do what she did the entire time before.

Dragonmaster_42

It appears both are guesses were right- well mine was half right sense he didn’t get stronger, and you were right about him being focalor, but I think I mine get what this guy’s rebirth skill is, when he dies he’s reborn at the start of the primeval level and it might get rid of skills gained in that time but that very far into the guess range, something like [primeval return]

Zuuuuuri

I somehow don't think Focalor was always in chains, and since his specialty is soul-magic binding of other demons to his power, I think this is an externalisation of his own skill backfiring on him, specifically by Regnorex, since he's apparently been bound in servitude to Regnorex ever since. So far so good, this now logically follows and it's no longer completely in the air. What happens when he meets Salvos, and just tries fighting her like a good zombie slave, and she starts [Truth Divination], which is something we already know is capable of breaking spells of this kind? Let's say she shows him that her father is still alive and is fighting corruption with Belphegor. Let's say his servitude to Regnorex breaks. Let's say Regnorex now has more than just Salvos to deal with. That would be very nice.

When was a guy in chains mentioned? There’s been so many questions answered these past couple chapters that I’ve forgotten them originally being mentioned. Along with the guy in chains when was Focalor first mentioned?

Jofis might have a GS that targets a person to stay in prime state as long as the target is alive. I think Reggie has the target alive and would kill the target if Jofis ignores his orders. Maybe the skill name “My Revenge is Immortal”

IdolTrust

I hope we get some story progression soon! I love combat but this getting drawn out!

Manlor

Jofis didn't heal from that last injury. I wonder why that is, but she needs to repeat that.

Danijel Turina

That never stopped her before. :)

Danijel Turina

I'd say Jofis died and his rebirth was triggered and reset his situation. However, I would expect him to now be weaker and Salvos needs to get her shit together and finish him off, and not be scared. Also, Manos is lvl 196. She has her GS. Last time I checked, she ragdolled a lvl 196, and the only reason why she couldn't kill him was because he had immense regenerative abilities, plus that [Demon Mode] GS that gave him extra stats and regen so he was back in business. She needs to get angry and rip their heads off.

Danijel Turina

“[Hellking Jofis]. You have brought death and destruction to the Netherworld with your reign. You are not fit to be the King of Hell.” - while I don't necessarily disagree, 1) he didn't do any better and 2) bringing death and destruction sounds pretty much exactly like what one would expect from a King of Hell. :)

Danijel Turina

Nothing good comes from talking to your enemies

Sivart

Now we know who the guy in chains is. My last guess was actually not bad.

Danijel Turina

Even Salvos and co acknowledge that Jofis is way to hard to kill

Angworu

That's what happens when you talk too much :)
