Moon Goddess - Debut

This was basically spurred on by a series of silly ideas involving a certain commoner elf somehow becoming the 'Moon Goddess Avatar', the most respected and holy person in all of the city. Mistaken by someone else, she got transported into a super lavish environment with all the food she could wish for. Without knowledge of the palace's traditions or social behaviors, the elf tries her best to fill in. And oh boy does she fill up. >:D

She looked over to the maiden standing next to her. As usual the slim girl, in comparison to the rather gravid lady stood unaffected by the many hours they have spent in the goddess's throne room. The maiden noticed her gaze; "One more left, madam. The person should be arriving soon."

The lady looked away, looking down the long hallway in front of her. "R-right, excellent. It... uhm, is about time for my nap- err, energy to rejuvenate."

"Of course, madam. I shall escort you once the visitations have finished."

The madam in question let out a sigh. But before she could think about what 'escorting' actually meant, a person appeared in the doorway and made his way forward. As the man approached closer, it became clear he was no part of the palace. His clothes were ragged and desaturated, with signs of his hair turning white. All in all, just an ordinary commoner. Just like she herself was.

"Oh my lady… You are as beautiful as the tales sung in taverns." He preached, kneeling down at the top of the stairs. "So more pure than our last goddess avatar... I'm so honored to be in your presence. Praise the holy Moon." 

"Y-yes, thank you for your patronage. I here... ab-bide you welcome to our temple." She started, feeling as unnatural as ever. "What is that which you seek?"

"I.. I seek your blessings, just like the previous avatar did years ago. My luck in my life has left me…" He expressed, looking up over her rather plump curves to her barely visible face.

"I see... What did she perform to bless you?"

"She sprayed me with her holy milk."

"I... uhm... wh-" The lady froze, flabbergasted by the ridiculous request she has received from this individual. She tried to remain composed as she glanced over to her maidens, but their reaction was as natural as ever. 'Do they really expect me to spray my breast milk over him?! Despite them preaching about the previous avatar giving milk to everyone, the furthest I've gotten was a few drops. That was yesterday...' Her heart started racing, would this be the moment they realize she's not the noble chosen one? Instead an imposter? She shook her head, telling herself not to panic. She would have to wing this, yet again.

"I… t-thine luck is not bound by holy milk. B-but by..." She glanced at a nearby table containing a few sugary sweets. "-by the offerings of our merciful Mother Earth. As so, you shall bring me dulcis."

"H-huh?" The confused man pondered. "Oh! Oh, of course! By giving the avatar of the Moon Goddess many nutrients, the Goddess herself shall bless me with good fortune!"

Her eyes peaked up. She quickly composed herself and nodded slowly. "V-very good... The Moon Goddess will be extremely pleased."

The man stood back on his two feet before bowing. "Madam, you can count on me. I shall return!" His energized walk to the exit was unlike his initial slumped walk.

The lady got out a deep sigh of relief. She had done it again. "I really could go for that nap right now..."
