The entry I've been working towards! It's nothing too special, a couple of weeks ago I just thought it would be neat to upload an entry where they celebrate her birthday ON the very same day! Happy Birthday Susan!!🎉
And with this, we have the prequel to the Mother's Day pic (also added a few alt angles to those) I did last year. Finally all caught up with the future peeks I did in 2023. I probably would've done more future peeks if I had actually worked beyond this point. But unfortunately week 31 to 40 is still heavily work in progress, and will likely take me some time to be able to adopt the same pace I did with this recent spurt. Now that I'm allowing myself to slack on the stories, this should be a lot quicker!
(apologies if the story seems a bit rough, had to rush it a bit...)

January 17, 2018 - (6 days after #102, 30 weeks into Susan's pregnancy)
“Kim... if you’re going to spend another 5 minutes...” Susan muttered while puckering her lips for her best friend.
“Sshhh, just the final touches. Aaand...” She pressed her lips together, repeating it until Susan did so as well. “There, all perfect.”
Kim put the lipstick away, judging Susan’s looks from further away. She signaled her friend to look in the mirror.
“I look so different...”
“Yoou mean the hair, make-up or your body?”
“Hah-hah, Kim. You know what I mean.” Susan said, observing how her new hairstyle reacts and falls as she tilts her head in various angles. “I’m not sure if she cut it too short or not.”
Kim shook her head. “Cutting it like this got rid of all the split hair tips you had. You’ll just need some time to adjust to it, I bet.”
Outside the room, someone was entering a key to the front door.
“Oh crap, Nathan’s home already!” Susan hurried over, as fast as her body allowed her to, grabbing the sweater. Kim helped her putting it over her head and guiding her arms through the sleeves, before she realized that the sweater was facing the wrong way.
“So uh... good morning ladies?” He said cautiously, watching Kim help Susan struggle to put her sweater on. Her head was poking through the top slightly, effectively making her blind and only showing the top of her hair.
“...Hi .” Susan got out. Kim looked around, smiling before shooing him away. Once he was gone, Susan finally was able to put the sweater on. After some adjustments to her hair, they were ready to show it off.
“May I present to you...” The redhead started, opening the door. “The now 22-year old Susan!”
Nathan first saw her ever-present triple orbs wobble out of the doorway, before seeing his wife fully. Immediately his eyes grew wide, standing up after leaning on the sofa.
“Whoah! That is really cute.”
Her cheeks flushed red. “Y-you think so? It’s not too much?”
Nathan chuckled, moving to stand next to her. “It’s perfect.” He looked over to Kim. “So this is what you two were up to today, huh?”
“Indeed! Though I can’t take credit for the haircut, nor the style. That’s all on this birthday girl.”
Susan nodded. “Yeah I just- we were walking past the barber shop. They had like posters of various women with different hairstyles. I saw one that I really liked and we... we just went for it!”
“Impulsive Susan going to a barbershop... where have I witnessed that before...” Kim pondered.
“Sssh! That’s not important!”
“Oh?” Nathan looked at Kim. “I’d love to hear about that.”
Their morning continued with the three preparing for the people that were coming over, as a much larger number of people wanted to drop by. It wasn’t just Susan’s 22th birthday that they were celebrating, it also served as the babyshower. It wasn’t every year that a relative or acquaintance was expecting septuplets, after all. Susan and Nathan were extremely glad for it though, as baby clothes and toys for 7 were anything but cheap.
First Nathan’s parents dropped by to join lunch, as well as dropping the twins off to continue working on the house. Then Blair and Logan paid a visit, and to no-one's surprise she and Kim got along quite well. Even Susan’s old college friend Ashley visited on a short notice, reconnecting after many years. Naturally many family members dropped by as well, each bearing gifts for Susan and the babies.
By the end of the evening, Susan and Nathan were exhausted. Everyone but the twins went back home as they stayed for an impromptu sleepover. Half a movie later, everyone was happily dozing off to sleep.
