Prologue

The Stargate activated, and out of it exited a woman of average height, 167 cm. She was extremely beautiful, with long golden blonde hair and electric blue eyes; she wore a full dark blue bodysuit with an integrated skirt that highlights her curvaceous body and red boots.
The gate behind her deactivated, the wormhole dissipating. Looking around her, light came on from the ceiling. The walls, ceiling, and floor were covered by dark marble; the Dial Home Device of the Stargate was facing the ring. In the middle of the ground was a circular inscription; the woman smiled as she saw it and walked over to it.
Immediately, a device comes out of the wall, rippling like water at the surface of a pond. She slowly walked up to it, her face looking directly into the device, until it grabbed her head. She saw pretty colored lights, until an ample white light pushed something into her brain.
The device released her head after several seconds, then the hands released the woman's head and retreated into the wall. She felt some mild discomfort for a moment as she momentarily wavered, but straightened her footing.
The woman walked up to the center of the room, sat in a lotus position, and started meditating. Slowly, she parsed through the knowledge downloaded into her mind as it unfolded the gigantic library of the Alteran race.

Chapter 1
# # #
It took me one day to fully integrate the Ancient language and the knowledge of technology, science, culture and history in my brain. I won't die like Colonel O'Neil would have because my body was even more advanced evolutionarily speaking than an Alteran just about to ascend. Another plus was that my Alteran abilities have been awakened, I could feel it.
I focused my mind on my body, feeling it strengthen; using an application of telekinesis to reinforce my body. My senses were really sharp and I was more than aware of my bodily functions, I could control them at will. When I looked around me, I saw more color and details; it was fascinating.
My bones made some noises as I stood and stretched. I stayed meditating for at least a day to sort out my memories and new knowledge. My stomach reminded me that I was hungry too and when I looked around there was nothing in the room.
“It's time to get out of here and I know where I can find support right away.” I said out loud as my eyes turned to the pedestal-shaped computer before the Astria Porta… No I mean stargate.
“Ah shit, it's already starting, the assimilation of the knowledge downloaded in my mind.”
The DHD was called a Clavis in Alteran. The devices were quite simple in function; they establish a wireless link with the nearby Astria Porta and act as a control device and power source, allowing any intelligent species to dial it without having to rotate the Astria Porta manually or develop their own computer interface.
I don't understand why they let the damn Astria Porta around? The answer came right away into my mind; the Ori Plague that wiped out the Alteran and fucked everything for everyone; as a consequences of the Alteran technology laying around, it gave rise to the Goa'uld and their reign of tyranny and the disappearance of many other species.
The Ori were still the great enemy, a threat looming over everyone in this galaxy. “I don't want to have to deal with them.”
It's been millions of years and the Ori threat is still projecting a shadow over my future. I really prefer the Alteran beliefs in science and pacifist behavior but… I am a human from the 21st century in my soul, I was going to go the militaristic route. Si vis pacem, para bellum and all that shit.
I walked up to the Clavis, I looked at the glyphs on it. Glyphs are symbols on Stargates which chevrons lock onto when a Stargate is being dialed. The basis for glyphs are star constellations. Thanks to my now photographic memory, I started entering the address I remembered I've seen from the stargate Wiki ten years ago.
Scutum, Lynx, Andromeda, Equuleus, Libra, Cetus and then I entered the last glyph which is the point of origin. The Astria Porta activated for me, doing the small klaxons sound and the wormhole opening. This was the gate address to Cimmeria, one of the Protectorate of the Asgards.
I walked confidently toward the portal and entered, and… brr,r it was cold. The matter composing my body was deconstructed, and I was suddenly witness to the travel sequence that I'd seen on screen in my previous life for about two seconds.
I suddenly stumbled out of the Astria Porta. I was in a meadow, and it was sunny. Six men were looking at me with widened eyes, until they started laughing at me and then they started chanting the name of Thor.
The gate was shut down behind me after a moment. Behind the Clavis was the famous Hammer of Thor. I heard the device starting to power up for five seconds, and when it was done, a cone of blue light shone upon me as the Hammer started scanning me. The scanning light lingered on me for a long moment before it shut off, and then the men who were chanting stopped cheering.
They looked quite disappointed and bummed out; they returned to what they were doing and left me alone. I shrugged, then used telepathy on the smartest one to download the Cimmerian language, because I didn't have a handy Linguist like Doctor Jackson with me.
While the men were loading the carriage, I listened to them as they sometimes looked back at me. Gradually, I started to understand their language; they were speaking about me and of my strange clothes and how I looked like a Noble.
I looked down at my clothes. Maybe I needed to blend in while waiting for Thor to be aware of my presence…

(Supreme Commander Thor)
At the same time…
Ida Galaxy
Flagship Beliskner
Thor was writing his report for the Asgard council. They've lost another flotilla to the Replicators. It angered him that those scourges were steadily taking over his home galaxy; It was a cold anger that the Supreme Commander channeled to take down efficiently and ruthlessly his people's enemies.
At the same time, he was receiving in real time scout reports from the Frontline in Ida. There was another attempt from the replicators to breach the blockade toward their homeworld. Thor swiftly sent an order to Tyr to destroy the replicator's ship attempting to pass through.
The order was acknowledged and Tyr departed to fight; Thor returned to work and just after he finished his report a notification popped up on his computer alerting him that something happened onto one of the protected planets in the Milky Way.
Someone recently arrived on the planet Cimmeria, it wasn't a Goa'uld or one of their Jaffa, nor even a probing strike from one of those parasites would-be God. No, the Hammer has detected a full blooded Alteran coming to that underdeveloped planet…
Thor took some time to think after he wrestled with his surprise… Was it an ascended Alteran who has come down to do something in Cimmeria? Or was it something else? Thor was curious…
That is why Thor used one of the stealth satellites to look for the Alteran. He quickly found her after scanning Cimmeria's surface for the Alteran DNA. The observation satellite found the subject, a young Alteran female.
She was walking in the human village nearest to the gate, observing people at the same time. Then she exited it to go to the forest where she looked for something; was she… hunting? She killed one of the predators by using her abilities.
Thor decided that he needed to go there to see what the Alteran wanted after his meeting with the council…

Back with Althaea…
I sold the boar carcass for money to the local hunter. I was offered a meal at the same time by the hunter's wife. It wasn't anything big, just some meat with vegetables similar to potatoes but tasting completely different. It must be something local, I thanked the woman, named Gertrud, who was a really chatty one.
Gertrude was a middle aged and green-eyed redhead who was visibly pregnant. Apparently she saw that I was from a different world and started telling me about what they trade with other planets under the same protection deal that they have with the Asgards.
Her husband, Gunter, was wary of me, I don't know why; it must be the bodysuit I was wearing. I will have to use more common clothes if I want to go unnoticed by the locals.
As a result of my friendship with Gertrud I met her son, Erik, and her little daughter, Brigid. Erik was apprenticing under his father to become a hunter and Brigid wanted to become a seamstress. Interacting with those people was like being back into the history of the Earth from the past, they were all community minded people.
That's how I spent my first night in Cimmeria, when I woke up the next day. Gertrud and Brigid gave me clothes to stop standing out.
Gertrud has given me a linen dress and a wool cloak; I kept my boots as they were sturdy and better than what the family could have given me. Brigid even helped me do my hair before I had to leave. Gertrud made me promise to favor her family if I hunted more boars and other games in the forest.
“They were really nice.” I said as I was now in the village.
I could hear the Blacksmith at work with the incessant hammer striking metal, the smell of fresh baked bread coming from the baker. The women also were taking water out of the well in the middle of the village to do their laundry or cleaning. It annoyed me how much stuff wasn't shown in the Stargate show, the streets in the village smelled of shit, human and horse waste.
I really wasn't fond of that level of human society, I could have chosen to go to Hebridan, that was home to the Hebridians, a human race; but I would have to set myself up there.
Right now, I was taking steps to help the Asgard, and take over the replicators and use them to build up Alteran society back up. Without the fuck ups of those who have ascended-
The sky darkened as storm clouds appeared over the little village and I found myself wrapped in white light and transported elsewhere.

With Thor…
The Biliskner exited the hyperdrive window inside the Cimmerian system, which possesses eight planets that orbit a main-sequence yellow star. This star system has three large asteroid belts full of naquadah. It was a system rich in resources and an extremely desirable target to the Goa'uld.
Fortunately for the human inhabitants of Cimmeria, Thor and the Asgard council had a vested interest in denying those parasites access to the system. Thor moved the control stone of his console to check the star system and the surveillance satellites in orbit of Cimmeria pinged him back showing that they were still operational.
Thor piloted his ship closer to the third planet, Cimmeria. He placed his ship in orbit, over to the land mass where the obelisk transporter was located.
He detected the Alteran life sign right away, with a quick scan Thor saw that the instruments and scanners aboard his surveillance satellites weren't lying to him; down there was a female Alteran who was mingling with the population.
She wasn't armed and wore an outfit similar to the locals; however, Thor could detect that she had some kind of technology on her. It was her boots? He decided to make more in-depth biological scans on her, and he discovered that this Alteran woman was ridiculously enhanced, mentally and physically.
“Hmm, there are powerful mental abilities detected by the sensors.”
Thor decided to teleport her and to ask her what she was doing on a Protectorate planet. In case she was hostile, he resolved to transfer her directly in a transport room and use a holographic avatar to discuss with her.
Moving the control crystal, Thor brought his ship closer to the atmosphere, creating the usual storm to camouflage his ship, and he transported the female Alteran to the designated transport room inside his ship.
She appeared in a flash of light, eyes closed, and when she reopened them, it was to look around herself. In a heavily accented low-Alteran language, she said while looking up, “Salutations, Commander Thor. I anticipated your arrival, though not with such alacrity.”
Thor sighed. He had forgotten how unflappable Alterans could be; this one in particular seemed to be some kind of precognitive. Nor did he miss how the Alteran formal verbiage. He had seen some of those close to ascending wield some powerful abilities before, such as healing or telepathy.
He immediately manifested his avatar and before the Alteran and asked, “Can you identify yourself?”
She tilted her head and approached him, passing her hand through his avatar, noticing that he was using telepresence to interrogate her. She smiled at him and slightly bowed. “I am Althaea; it is a privilege to make your acquaintance.”
"I understand, discovering an Alteran who remains alive or has not ascended constitutes significant news. Might I inquire about your means of survival? What is your objective for your arrival here?"
“In response to your inquiry, I would appreciate it if you could adjust your sensors and evaluate my quantum resonance.” Althaea requested, but Thor understood what she was implying and did just that.
Thor looked at the scanner results on his holographic screen, and when he finished, he blinked. Indeed, Althaea came from a parallel universe as her quantum signature and vibration differed from the beings in this universe.
The Asgard turned his head toward his guest. “It appears you originate from an entirely distinct universe. May I inquire whether you are a refugee or an explorer?”
It was important to know why this person was here. Alteran were curious beings and often brought about problems because of it. He would send her back if she were an explorer, but if she were a refugee… Thor hoped that she could explain what she had fled from.
The happy smile on Althaea’s face turned forlorn. “I am a displaced individual; circumstances deteriorated in my native universe.”
Thor made a chair appear inside the room thanks to his transporter and invited her to sit with a gesture. “What transpired?”
Althaea sat and started weaving a harrowing tale. “The Ori, our ancient adversaries, have invaded and seized control of the Avalon galaxy and adjacent galaxies within the local group, including Ida and Pegasus, to propagate their religious beliefs. They have exterminated all entities not classified as human, as their doctrine prohibits coexistence with other sentient species.”
Thor stared shockingly at the Alteran woman, blinking multiple times at hearing her tale. “This news is indeed troubling.”
Thor remembered the great plague ten million years ago, it was an unfortunate event that prompted their ally to move to the Pegasus Galaxy. He knew that their great enemies, the Ori, were the cause, and getting this warning from Althaea showed that their threat still loomed over everyone.
Althaea became even sadder, and a tear flowed from her left eye. “I have endured the loss of numerous friends, and Ascension was not a viable alternative. My people have become extinct, and I have sought refuge here.”
Thor was moved by what happened to her and put a hand on her leg in comfort. “Kindly remain composed, Althaea; we shall assist you in establishing your presence here. However, may I inquire how you arrived? Did you traverse via a Furling Quantum Causeway?”
Quantum Causeways were holes in the fabric of the universe to travel to another one, they were the safe way to do it. The Furlings have used them to leave this universe to flee from the conflicts in this one. Thor lamented their departure; the Furlings were a peaceful people who had their fill of wars and conflict; he hoped that they found a place where they could live in peace.
Althaea shook her head and replied, “No, I employed a bespoke Astria Porta linked to a black hole to obscure my exit. The Astria Porta underwent self-destruction upon my passage, resulting in the obliteration of the space station that served as my stronghold. I sought to prevent the Ori from discovering an alternative means to disseminate their doctrine.”
Thor blinked, all those actions screamed of desperation and at the same time was reassuring that the Ori threat was contained in their own universe and wouldn’t follow Althaea. “This is a brutal method of traversing between universes. The destination would have occurred at random. You assumed considerable risks, Althaea.”
The woman looked at him hotly. “I assure you, I am aware… yet, I found myself in a state of desperation, as I sought to avoid being forcibly elevated and transformed into a power source for the Ori, analogous to my predecessors. I could not afford the risk of finding myself in a reality akin to my own. The utilization of a black hole for traversal across parallel universes introduces a degree of randomness to my destination, thus leading me to a universe that is not as temporally advanced. Thus far, there exists a semblance of similar universal laws in comparison to my original universe; consequently, my undertaking proved to be advantageous.”
There was nothing Thor could say that would convince Althaea that she had been wrong to use such a method, and there was also the fact that he didn’t know what she went through. If their role were reversed, he wouldn’t want to be judged for a desperate situation such as this. Thor changed track and asked her, “What is your current desire to undertake?”
Althaea speared Thor with a look and pleaded, “I beseech your assistance, and I shall reciprocate accordingly. Should the trials endured by my people be of benefit to the Asgard, I shall endeavor to provide such aid.”
Thor couldn’t hide his excitement, having a living and breathing Alteran could be a boon for their war against the replicators. He gambled by asking, “Do you know about the replicators?”
Althaea tilted her head and frowned. "Oh... are those present here as well? Have you yet discovered their subspace network? We merely need to infiltrate the signal they utilize and reconfigure them."
Thor smiled at Althaea, as much as his people could do such a thing. “What requirements must be met for you to undertake this task? Your assistance in aiding my compatriots would be greatly valued and duly rewarded.”
She told him, and it was all he could do to leave Cimmeria immediately toward the destination given to him by Althaea; he also contacted the Asgard Council to deliver the news.

Back with Althaea…
I didn’t lie even once. I did indeed come from another universe, and I do have a new set of memories of another life where I lived as an Alteran that studied science as a hobby, captained a warship, and was also a spaceship designer. My sponsor was thorough in giving me a background and a way to acclimate myself to this new universe. Integration in this society and becoming a more warlike Alteran can be easily explained by my circumstances.
Currently, I am in a passenger cabin inside Thor’s ship. I folded the dress I received from Gertrud earlier, and started putting on my bodysuit, but kept my hair arranged like my friend did for me.
Looking at myself in a mirror formed by the simplistic reflecting surface on the wall of the cabin, I requested a mirror. A slender, light-skinned girl with a muscular physique looked back at me. She has long blonde hair, and her eyes are blue with a green tinge. I was a perfect copy of Samus Aran minus the infusion with Chozo DNA.
That’s another gift from my sponsor. Apparently, hot girls are great to look at, even for god-like entitled beings who used us, mortals, as entertainment. I couldn’t do it at Cimmeria; no wonder the men kept looking at me with lust.
Anyway, it wasn’t the moment to be vain; Thor was making a beeline for this location: Pisces, Virgo, Monoceros, Piscis Austrinus, Microscopium, Centaurus. This was the planet where the Replicators were born on, because of an evil android built by someone who was pants at designing artificial intelligence.
This asshole didn’t think about giving them the mental faculty to mature and grow; he stuck them at the childhood phase. I’m not turning on the android called Reese; I’m going to use her process to give orders to the Replicators and install myself and certain members of the Asgard Council as administrators and repurpose them to my needs.
Suddenly, Thor’s voice rang into the room."Althaea, we have successfully arrived at the planet. I shall dispatch you for transport following a thorough examination of the city you delineated."
It was time to start going to work…
