The only reason I'm releasing this is because Rackoflife asked me to because he want to see it. This is a story which started all my Xover stories with Demon Goddess Lilith and the Interdimensional city of Crossroad.
Enjoy!

Chapter 1
Through the looking glass
My name is Alicia Argent, and this is my story; you can't imagine everything I've seen and done. Have you ever gone to the Pokémon world to have your own cute super-powered animal, or become a member of the fellowship of the ring in LOTR? I did it and kept leading a fulfilled life of adventure, romance and battle. I decided to write how everything started!
That day was a good one, it was summer and I was trekking in the forest southwest of Paris called Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Natural Regional Park. I was wearing a simple white t-shirt and sturdy blue hot pants, a red and black shirt with long sleeves with a checkered pattern tied at my waist and study brown leather shoes. At my neck was my favorite crystal necklace… this was important for the rest of the story.
One moment I was in the woods and walked into a circle of flowers and mushrooms and the next I was in a marketplace with people with medieval outfits buying things. The architecture wouldn’t be out of place in one of those medieval fairs; but I saw people who wore something like advanced futuristic armor so it wasn’t a LARP site…
I watched as entertainers either sang or shot fireballs from their hands to turn them into birds or dragons. “Where am I?”
Wandering for an hour in the marketplace, I looked in wonder at everything and asked myself if I read too many fantasy books or was dreaming about those isekai anime I watched last night. I saw someone turn into a super saiyan in the sky fighting a magical girl in some kind of sky arena; elves growing trees by singing to them and a lot of supposedly fictional species and races all around me. My wandering brought me to a shady looking store with a cat person behind a counter. He was cleaning the counter and the shelves with what appeared to be magic.
I entered the nameless store, attracted by everything in it. There was a beautiful western sword in a stone in a corner, where the wall was loaded with weapon racks; spears, maces, hammers, futuristic pistols and rifles… on the other side of the weapons, there were armors, accessories and clothes presented on mannequins; they were made in all types of fabrics and leathers. So many beautiful pieces as well, then there was the coat, that coat that I fell in love with immediately.
It was a long trench coat made of black leather, it shimmered with a scale-like texture. I walked toward the counter and the cat man stood straight from his previous leaned down stance with perky ears standing up on his head. “Welcome, welcome Traveler!”
He was a solid black cat man with green eyes and wore a brown tunic and a red headscarf adapted to his cat ears. His voice was suave and with an interesting accent, similar to those people from Arabian countries I've met in Paris. I awkwardly waved my hand, “Um salut, mister Khajiit?”
With a cat-like smile, the gorgeous cat man said with a pleasant tone, "Please call me Omar."
*You're not into interspecies sex you're not, Alicia!* I said in my heart.
Exteriorly I plastered a smile on my face and pointed a finger at the coat. "You can call me Alicia then… A propos, Omar. I noticed that good looking coat there…"
The cat man turned to the exposition model and a predatory smile appeared on his face. "Ah, the trench coat of holding. One of the best hits of my store, it comes in different colors and has a lot of attractive enchantments that could be added."
My eyes fell on the sexy coat that was surely made by a goddess of fashion, I frowned a bit. "Trench Coat of Holding? Are you saying that there's a hammer space in the coat?"
It wasn't Omar who answered me but a white furred cat-like being with black bat wings and a red balloon attached to its head. "You're smart and rather calm for a lost traveler."
It looked awfully cute and huggable, but I held onto my tongue to avoid voicing my thoughts… "Huh, what are you…"
With a little flip in the air, the floating being introduced itself. “I'm a Moogle, Kupo!”
Then it clicked in my mind, this was a magical being from the Final Fantasy franchise, they were often merchants and warriors who can jump dimensions… Finding one fictional creature wasn’t surprising after meeting a Khajiit From Elder Scrolls though…
Omar purred as his ears went flat on his head, “Ah, here's the parasite again, ruining my fun.”
The Moogle turned his head toward his associate? Business Partner? They wore the same brown tunic and red headscarf. There was a glint of mischief in the Moogles’ eyes as he turned to me and said, “Did you give her the ‘Khajiit has wares, if you have coin’ quote yet? Kupo.”
I had expected Omar to say that iconic quote, but he had preferred to do conversation; with a lethal glare, the Khajiit looked at the Moogle and raised his arms in annoyance. “You always ruin everything, Nono!”
Slightly bowing his head, Nono replied with a satisfied tone, “With a certain pleasure I might add. Kupo.”
Damn those two were a riot; however, I still felt as if I was in a weird place that challenged my understanding. I was going with the flow mainly, but I wanted information on this place. “So, Messieurs Omar and Nono, I’m really lost, can you tell me where I am? And can I buy that trench coat? It looks so sexy.”
With a big sigh, Omar turned to his associate. “We always seem to end up with the new travelers somehow, Nono.”
The little Mog shrugged and said in an amused tone, “This is good in a way, if this one survive, she could be a top customer. Kupo.”
My eyes widened, did I end up in some kind of death place? “Huh, survive? Am I going to die?”
Please say no, please say no… The moogle floated toward me and touched my forehead.. “Sorry, I didn’t want to scare you! Kupo.”
I calmed down but still noticed that he didn't say no. Omar looked at me with a bit of pity. “Like you humans say, you’re not in Kansas anymore.”
From a natural park in France to somewhere filled with fictional races, wonder of technology and magic? Yeah, you bet she was not in her world anymore. “I’d guessed, I mean… merde, I met a Moogle and Khajiit and I saw some power armored people, Elves and Saiyans on the way here.”
It had been magical and scary, Saiyans could destroy planets with a stray ki beam, Elves were magical and alien; those power armored people looked rather intimidating as well. I was a stranger in a strange land and I didn’t know how to go back to my own world.
The two merchants perked up at what I said; Omar laughed as he looked at the clock behind him, near the shelves full of books. “Yes, this is Arena day today. It becomes rather lively in the streets on those days.”
Seeming to make a decision, Omar clapped his hands; golden light spread from his hands to Nono and me and we were in another room, furnished with sofas and a coffee table loaded with snacks, coffee and tea. The walls were gray and covered in posters of movies and video games. This place looked more like a place to have fun than a receiving room.
Omar pointed at a red sofa with a furred hand. “Take a seat dear customer, this explanation will be… long.”
I looked around a bit more in the room and asked with confusion, “How did we move into this room?”
The moogle laughed. “Teleportation. Kupo.”
It was on the sound of 80s rock that I sat on the sofa and decided to hear out my hosts.
~~~~ Battle Nun ~~~~
The more I saw of magic and advanced technology, the more I was interested and wanting to have them. Omar and Nono first started to explain to me where I was and what they did. I was shown a holographic map of the city in a bubble. It was a massive thing, easily the size of Africa and then some. It was some kind of demi-plane locked in a nexus between realities.
Omar was rather technical with his explanation, but Nono was better at simplifying it. “We’re in Crossroad City, a junction between reality. Kupo. Here magic societies meets high technological civilizations from this corner of the Omniverse. Kupo.”
This City has existed for millenia to support dimensional travelers, it was either a pit stop or people retired here when they were ready to settle down with their riches, peers or their waifu and husbando they collected from a fictional or other universes. There is everything in Crossroad, magic artifacts, ships, other vehicles, knowledge both technological and magical. You could also learn how to fight here, there are innumerable levels of services available.
Nono showed me countless animated pamphlets with moving pictures and interactive texts on them; they explained everything Crossroad had to offer… Wow, there was even a beautification salon that could make you as good looking as the usual starlets on Earth. Glancing up at Nono and Omar, I commented with wide eyes, “Impressionnant (Impressive), so this is a melting pot where everyone is a dimensional traveler?”
Despite myself there was a note of excitement in my voice; in my thirty years of life, this was the first time that I felt so alive. I just discovered that what is imagined by our writers, video game developers or artists is real. I wanted to explore those worlds and meet interesting people, maybe help a bit. Grandma raised me like that.
“Yeah, we have a lot of sliders, jumpers or planeswalkers coming in. Kupo.” Nono added as he gave me more and more pamphlets, this time about becoming a dimensional traveler.
There were offers about powers to travel the universes and get super powers and abilities to be safe to do so; it was awesome but it wasn’t FREE, there were sponsorship programs or merchant hiring agents… thinly veiled indenture contracts to become an employee. There was even a pamphlet for Nono and Omar’s shop about becoming affiliated agents to go look for resources, items and rare artifacts…
This was strangely familiar and reminded me of those Waifu Catalog fics I read on QQ and other websites for my reading fix. With a suspicious gaze, I stared at my two hosts. “J’adore (I like) those offers and they seem clear cut, even the outlines of the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of employees are transparent; perfect healthcare, holidays and advantageous pay are through the roof. But I assume that the need for transparency means that there’s a darkside to a multiversal society… Nono, Omar… What about those… salaud slavers from the Waifu catalogs companies? Are they real?”
As I spoke, the tension became heavy in the receiving room… Omar was the first to speak. “Yes, they are… but you better avoid them, a cute little thing like you would be snapped up in a second.”
There was venom in the cat man’s voice as he surely thought about the company. He didn’t look surprised that I knew about them; travelers must be aware of evil jumpers and acquisition employees of those evil companies.
Nono materialized a shotgun sized to his body and cranked it. “You better kill them if they are a threat to you. Whatever good intentions they have, their companies are led by Evil Gods who feast on human souls, potential, misery and death.”
I slowly nodded as I looked at the futuristic shotgun in his little hands. “Je comprends (I understand). But I don’t have any powers or abilities like them, I can do a little yoga but…”
Letting go of his Shotgun, Nono floated before me, his weapon dissipating into the ether. “That’s where we come in, dear customer! Kupo.”
“You have a choice, Kupo. Either you become a traveler or… we get you back to your world where you disappeared with your memories erased.” Nono then showed me a familiar device, one that I saw in a series of movies and cartoons from my childhood.
“Is that a Neuralizer?” I found myself asking as I looked at the cylindrical pen sized device. The two merchants seemed to have everything at their disposal, how envious…
Nono nodded and smiled happily. “Oh you know what it is, good. Now choose. Kupo.”
There was no choice, I knew what I wanted to do; I wanted to boldly go where no man has gone before; but what stopped me from answering right away were the things I would have to leave behind. My friends and remaining family; my job and my ex-boyfriend who kept calling me to apologize for cheating on me. There was also the fact that death awaited me if I did a lot of gaffes, I’m used to those; and out there in the multiverse? There were worse things than death.
But screw it! If I die, I die. Staring into Nono’s eyes, I said with determination. “I have nothing left in my world. My mom and grandmother are deceased because of the Covid-19 pandemic; and this seems to be the start of a good thing…”
“You choose your destiny, Kupo. Omar! The contract and payment plans! Kupo.” Nono declared excitedly.
“Here they are.” Omar took a tablet and slid it before me.
I took it and then went to work, but all of a sudden, the slim black tablet began to scan me through a flash of light coming from the scanner on the topside of the screen. I almost let go of it as it surprised me.
[Alert, cosmic energies detected on the subject.] The voice coming from the tablet announced.
Omar and Nono looked at me and they suddenly blasted me with a spell and the necklace at my neck began to glow with a pink colored aura. The Khajiit walked around the coffee table and was before me and staring at my chest. He was about to reach for my chest when I batted his hand away. "At least offer me dinner first." I said with a bit of heat in my voice.
Omar held onto his hand. "What? Oh, sorry. Alicia… you have a really rare and dangerous gem on your neck."
I chuckled at his cute reaction, Nono approached me this time and looked at the tree of life stone crystal pendant at my neck. With an accusatory tone he asked, "What’s more important is how did you obtain that artifact!? Kupo."
Shrugging, I replied, "My grandma offered it to me, she said she had found the necklace in a garage sale."
I remembered it like yesterday, we went to a garage sale together in the market where people were selling everything in their storages or attics in Paris. We bought old jewelry and I didn’t have enough money to buy the pendant I was wearing right now, and grandma bought it for me. She was a great parent! I held onto the pendant and thought fondly about my late grandma, I missed her.
Omar looked greedily at the pendant while I played with it. The cat man gulped and said, “Alicia, there’s good news for you. You won’t have to take any of the payment plans or contracts we have to offer. If you sell us this Mandalay Gem at your neck.”
Huh? So I wouldn't have to work for them for three to ten years to pay for the upgrades to myself I intended to take? Looking at the pendant in my hand, I weighed the pros and cons of selling it; however, grandma would have wanted me to take care of myself and go have adventures, to be happy.
Glancing back at Omar, I asked, “What does it do?”
Omar took back the tablet by making it fly to him, looked for something on it, then showed me a file. “It’s of Celestial origins, It serves as a focus for cosmic energies that the user can manipulate.”
The little bit of Gem I had on me was a big chunk of something called a Mandalay Gem and it was powerful. Nono, continued to speak for Omar, abbreviating what I was currently reading. “That gives super powers. Energy manipulation and augment durability… Kupo.”
Looking at him skeptically, I said, “This is the first time I heard about it, I never used it.”
I tried to blow something by waving my hand at it and nothing happened. Nono laughed at me and asked, “Have you ever bled on it?”
Shaking my head I told him, “No…”
Nono began to dance in the air and with a happy voice said, “Then the Gem isn’t bound to you yet and so it is inert. Kupo. Omar! It's a super rare product right here, what can we exchange for it?”
The Moogle turned to his partner and Omar began to calculate something. “The Trench coat she seems enamored with, we can add the priciest enchantment and technology in it!”
The Moogle shook his head and declared, “Not enough! This gem can buy a M class planet!”
My eyes opened wide. “Vraiment? (Really?)”
“Really!” The little being nodded vehemently.
My eyes fell on the pamphlet on the coffee table next to the plate full of cakes. There were all those powers and abilities that would be mine completely compared to this necklace that could be taken from me and make me a normal woman again… “I want to see those essences from your stock, apparently they can give super powers and stack up.”
Omar took a remote like device from his utility belt and pressed a button. Suddenly everything went on lock down, I heard the sound of the shop shutters and entrance being locked. The Khajiit turned to the Moogle with a serious look. “Nono break out the special stuff and close the shop.”
Nono saluted. “I’m going to the vault!”
Then the Moogle disappeared. Omar invited me to sit and eat some of the shop’s specialties while Nono gathered the good stuff. I won’t lie I filled my belly with the sinfully delicious cakes, donuts and apple juice. Omar began giving me the rules concerning the essences, I can choose as many as my current balance of money will allow. He made me give him the Mandalay gem pendant and estimated it at 77 billion credits, the currency of Crossroad City.
“Is it a lot?” I didn’t have a frame of reference for the currency they were using.
Was it the credits like in Star Wars or the credits like in Farscape and other sci-fi shows? Omar then did the conversion for me on the tablet; 0.93 Euro would buy me around 1.44 Credits and this was a lot!
Basically, I was somewhat rich right now. Omar confirmed it as he looked at me with his big green feline eyes. “Yes, you can buy a planet with that much money.”
“D’accord… (Okay…)” It seemed that planets were cheap to a multiversal society.
Omar made me choose the essences I wanted on the tablet. All those on the catalog offer me a wide selection of essences that have different abilities or items. There was a lot of choice, I filtered those that were morally wrong to choose or downright turned me into a monster.
The Khajiit put another plate of cake before me, making me look at him. “Choose your essences well, they should help you get over anything… Some essences have similar effects and they do not stack.”
I nodded and took one of the cakes. “I should put my Dungeons And Dragons hat on then.”
And I did. I needed something to raise my power level quickly and offer me some protections, there were a lot of options. I first went with the Essence of the Battle Nun. I was raised as a Christian so this felt the best to me as it conferred me a lot of powers, super strength, speed, dexterity and reactions; the ability to use battle magic, summon angels and perform miracles left and right. It was also shocking and overpowered, death won’t stop me, mind altering effects won’t work on me as well and it should make me so healthy that I will recover from anything. But what sold me the most was the remodeling of my body that it offered. There were so many abilities in that Essence that it was crazy.
I bought a composite essence and it was expensive, The essence of the Mover/Home fusion; it offered me a safe place that I can customize, impenetrable to any being I do not want inside, it has full utility and the capability to travel through the multiverse and can give me passage practically anywhere. This essence also gave me the power to move anything from one point to another at will, even if those two points are in two separate realities; the distance is irrelevant when Moving anything, only the mass matters. News flash I can move myself as well! But this power had a cooldown often depending on the mass of what I moved. I’m going to translate this power into portals.
The other thing I thought about is about gaining in power as I traveled, so I bought the Essence of Blank. If I consume this, I would break any limiter placed on me and be able to learn any discipline or skill set, even if I shouldn't normally be capable of it, without forgetting it and practice them into mastery; what pleased me the most was that it synergized well with other essences. Even more so when I read this “Any abilities you have from other Essences will increase where possible and develop in ways beyond their initial purposes” I was sold on it.
Let’s come to the most expensive essence in there, the Essence of Inviolate Self; what can I say about this? This would turn me into something other than human at some point. The essence contained the blessing of inviolability of the body, mind, and soul: I wouldn’t need to eat, drink, breathe, produce human waste, or sleep, and would be immune to the harmful effects of extreme environments ranging from the bottom of the ocean to the vacuum of space. This also gave biological immortality, but the battle nun essence already did that; however what I like about this essence is the blanket protection it covers from most exotic effects such as immunity to reality warping, precogs, postcogs and paradoxes.
Now the less glamorous essence of the lot, Essence of the Binder. I must assume that I will get companions when I will have all those adventures and if it’s a lover? I would want to share immortality with them and make them as unkillable as myself. However! I don’t plan to force their loyalty or evoke feelings they don’t have for me with this… mind control isn’t one of my hentai fetishes!
Another option that stacked with the Essence of Blank was the Essence of Skill Mastery, this one would make me look as if Tony Stark, Doctor Manhattan and Reed Richards are baboons intellectually. I would gain the ability to learn and master virtually any skill set to an ideal degree of mastery, but would also make me something that is beyond genius; the description and effects of the essence guaranteed me that I would still be myself, it would still be me but as if I was a super computer.
And for last I choose a cheap essence that would help make me a nightmare for anyone who pissed me off, the Essence of Truth. This essence basically let me experience the full benefits of synesthesia; with effort I could smell lies, smell what someone ate three months ago or develop extra-senses such as a danger. I didn’t even say what everything I ordered could do, as I abbreviated it to the max, but… the sky was the limit right now.
I highlighted my choices and handed the tablet to Omar who took it and began to read my selection.
Essences:
1. Battle Nun (2 billion)
2. Mover/Home fusion [Composite Essence] (10 billion)
3. Blank (1 billion)
4. Inviolate Self (12 billion)
5. Binder (65 million)
6. Skill Mastery (90 million)
7. Truth (20 million)
Currency left: 51.825 billions Credits
Omar began to purr and looked back at me. “You’ll have some overlap with the abilities given, but with this you should be covered, Alicia.”
Raising my hands in victory, I shouted, “Yes!”
The Khajiit smiled at me and put the tablet on the armrest. “We’ve taken the liberty to open an account to the Crossroad Goblin bank and your funds are safe there. No one would want to cross those money grabbing cave dwellers.”
This stopped my festive mood and I looked at the cat man with wariness. “Wait Goblins? From Harry Potter.”
Omar leaned in his seat, he had filled a glass with milk. “Yes, they moved here after nuclear war destroyed that particular world.”
Taking a sip of his glass of milk, the Khajiit took his time to savor the drink. “Oh… but are they still stiffing people?”
The cat man had a really amused expression on his face, he looked like the Cheshire cat. “Oh no, they must respect the Banking Guild Charter. Genocide has been waged for less.”
Now I understood that Crossroad wasn’t a place full of sunshine and rainbows that it showed itself to be. There was always Darkness under the glitter and it was a constant everywhere. “That’s a bit too much… no?”
Omar drank some milk again, once he was done sipping on his glass, he put it on the table. “Not really, there could have been far worse happening.”
It was hard to believe.
“I am back! Kupo!” Nono announced when he reappeared with a floating trait with seven vials the size of a mini-pet bottle.
Omar cleared the coffee table of food and Nono used some kind of telekinesis to put the tray on the table. The Moogle looked at me and at Omar, “Did you sell it?”
“Yes, 77 billion credits.” Omar threw the tablet at Nono who stopped it by grabbing it with his telekinesis and he began to read my account balance.
The Moggle looked happy. “That’s full price, I guess you’ve still got enough for more services. Kupo. We will get back to that later, here are your purchases, seven Essences bottles of different types. Kupo.”
Oh yes, I planned to shop for clothes and equipment later! I leaned forward to grab an essence bottle when Nono slapped down my hand. “Ouch.”
“It comes with instructions! Read them!” The Moogle warned me.
I massaged my poor hand. “D’accord (Okay), don’t be so stiff.”
Omar laughed and gave me back the tablet with the instruction and stood up. “We will give you a bit of privacy! Here’s the bathroom.” He pointed to the right to a door that wasn’t there before.
The two merchants disappeared with a clap of the hands and I found myself alone; shrugging I walked up to the bathroom. As I opened the door, I saw that it was a normal bathroom with a bathtub, sink and floor length mirror, as well as a toilet bowl. Okay, I expected something futuristic but I guess my expectations were too much.
I went back to the receiving room and grabbed the essences and the tablet and I put the tray on the sink. I sat on the toilet and began to read the instructions that basically told me in what order to drink those. I started with Inviolate self and… I felt myself changing as I finished drinking the concoction, it was like touching a livewire. Looking at myself in the mirror, my agelines melted into my face to become smooth skin again. Okay I was back to looking eighteen years old… Same blonde hair and blue eyes though; my skin felt smooth and my boobs have become perkier, I checked!
I was feeling in tip top form, gone are the various little aches that I had accumulated, and all the little scars on my skin are now gone.
Next was the essence of the blank, but I didn’t feel anything when I drank it; shrugging I put the bottle on the side of the tray. Same result with essence of the binder, nothing felt but it tasted great. Anyhow, it was completely different with Skill Mastery; I felt my mind expand as well as reality, and was struck with clarity and saw the interconnectedness of all things.
I could now connect all the little events that have brought me here; the fairy ring that brought me here, ending up being transported into another dimension by a legendary fairy portal. Suddenly I remembered what I’ve read about it as if I was watching the wikipedia page I consulted years ago:
“Folklore tells us that cultures across Europe have traditionally believed that fairy rings are the dwelling place of fairies, elves, witches, and other magical beings– and that in some cases, they may be dangerous to enter. Even though fairy rings were thought to be little realms where fairies dance and play, lore suggested that if a human interrupted the fun, the cost could be deadly serious.”
“Mkay, It seems I have an excellent memory now.” It was as if my mind was cataloging back everything in my memory.
I had to take a rest and sit on the toilet while my mind was getting itself together. I stayed like this for at least ten minutes before I felt that I could think without that big headache. When I was ready, I took on the essence of the truth and gulped it down; nothing happened yet-
I could hear some noise all around me and the lights began to hurt my eyes; I closed my eyelids and tried to ride the sensory overload that ceased after however long that moment eventually passed. I closed my eyes and then I focused on mentally reducing how sharp my senses were like a volume button. It worked rather well.
“What a trip.” I really felt better and aware of my surroundings, this was crazy.
Home/Mover and Battle Nun were the only ones left. I followed the instructions and took the gold and red bottle with a golden cross on the cork. I slowly sipped on it, closing my eyes and… I began to tear up as I felt as if I was drinking ambrosia, something so good and so pure that I felt guilty about it. My priority shifted when I finished downing this entire bottle. I felt myself being filled with purpose; purpose that will drive me to do great things without a doubt.
In my heart I heard this: “Believe in Your Heart. Believe in your heart that you're meant to live a life full of passion, purpose, magic and miracles.”
I felt like a million watts and… huh, my body was shifting. I became taller, at least 5‘9 and my hair became longer and carmine red; my blue eyes had long eyelashes now, and my face morphed into an idealized version of myself and I could give Amber Heard and all those little starlets a run for their money as I now looked like a 11/10 on the hotness scale. My clothes simply ripped as I now have an athletic (not body builder, I’m now thicc not bricc, don't get the two confused!) build with muscular arms and legs. I flexed my arms and saw perfection, it didn’t help that I was a double D but I didn’t feel any strain on my back when I rolled my shoulders
“Ah merde, I need new clothes ASAP.” Ah! My voice was completely different! I sounded like… an angel, well shit I am going to attract attention.
But there was one last essence to drink and I popped open the cork and gulped down. I felt myself being filled by something, and I was pulled in every direction and… space and time, there were more than three dimensions, I could see what lay beyond the curtain, time was the fourth dimension tied to everything. Holding my hand before me, a blue portal shimmered open, when I retracted my hand, it disappeared.
“Okay, no test yet. You must wait, Alicia.” I said as I took back my hand with an uncertain expression.
I walked out of the bathroom with the tray full of empty bottles and placed them on the coffee table of the receiving room. Looking at myself my hot pants and t-shirt were too tight on me and untied the shirt around my waist. I sighed when I realized that my boots were too big for my feet.
Speaking aloud I called out for Omar and Nono. "Hey guys, I may need a change of clothes."
They teleported back in with golden light. Omar’s cat’s eyes became big like saucers. "Alicia is that… you?"
"Yeah…" I said lamely as I felt really uncomfortable in my too tight outfit.
"Your voice is different." Omar purred, showing that he liked the change.
Nono stopped any flirting going on between us with his sharp tongue. “Yes you look cute, Kupo.”
“I presume that you've drunk all the essences? Kupo." The Moogle stared at the empty bottle on the coffee table.
I nodded.
A futuristic solid black suitcase with a blue glowing line on its lid appeared before me. Nono smugly said, "I anticipated this and was ready to give you this. It’s on the house!"
The suitcase opened with a hiss and inside I could see… undies made of some kind of black fabric, an armored red and black bodysuit with armored boots. It looked sexy to be honest… Once again, the boys left and let me put my new clothes on.
Once I was done putting my outfit on, I felt beautiful and attractive when I looked at myself in the mirror. It was with a skip in my steps that I went back to the duo who clapped as they saw me. Nono was quick to rein in Omar… "Okay, now we must proceed to the other services we need to send you on your way."
I began to think… "Clothes, equipment, communication… everything."
Shopping for new tech was awesome, I finally bought my dream Trench Coat. Omar explained to me its basic enchantments; it was armored and indestructible, and there was a hammer space inside like he had told me before, though the space inside was scalable. I choose the size of a warehouse, I would have sufficient space and shelves to be prepared for anything. There was the modular shifting technology installed that I got as an addon that made me fill my trench coat with all the equipment and clothes I bought; Omar gave me a manual for that.
I bought a new wardrobe at my size, the clothes were also enchanted with repairing and self-cleaning magic. Oh and I also upgraded my smartphone with the local tech, infinite data space, quantum computer and with free multiversal internet…
As a bonus I could still use my phone in other universes and it came with an electronic warfare module with a Smart AI. Omar also gave me access to the quest system of Crossroad city, of course he marked me as being affiliated with his shop. I looked badass with my new trench coat.
When we were done, they teleported me back to the entrance of the shop and Nono thanked me for my purchase. “You have a free trial to pull the sword in the stone! Kupo.”
“That one?” I pointed to the familiar sword; it reminded me of the one in Fate wielded by Artoria.
“Yes, come on. Kupo.” The Moogle floated up to me and guided me to the sword in the stone.
“If you manage to pull it, you’ll be given the sheath. Kupo.” Nono told me as I glared at the sword.
I held my hand before me and gripped on the sword’s hilt and… pulled it. Yeah, the sword looked suspiciously like Fate’s Excalibur…
“Oh come on, she’s the ten thousandth try! How come she’s the one?! Kupo.” The Moogle exclaimed and he reluctantly gave me a sheath with matching color with a sword belt.
I immediately put it at my waist and sheathed the sword; I didn’t have time to be smug about it as a golden portal of energy opened behind me and I was sucked into it. “Eeep!”
