One of the biggest reasons I enjoy your podcasts & videos is because I find your accent enjoyable to listen to, whether it's a naughty word filled rant or laid back musings. Are there any accents you yourself find enjoyable to listen to?

2023-11-08 00:51:33 +0000 UTCWorst O.N.S.: In early 2000s my general rule was at a certain point in an evening if I had nothing going on, comfy pants went on and I didn't go out. This one Saturday night those criteria were met AND it was cold & raining when a gal-pal i hadn't seen for a while hit me up asking if i wanted to hit a club. Not a group, just us. Seemed worth the risk to break my rule, so i took my first ever new car & drove us to this Baltimore club. Not only was car broken into, but when thieves found nothing good to steal they also vandalized it. Being so stressed, had my first cigarette in almost a year. After driving her home with a smashed out window that invited the cold rain all over us, a pick-me-up throw down was initiated. Worst performance of mine ever, as being an over-thinker I couldn't stop trying to remember when my insurance office opened to file a claim, mentally calculating cost, etc. Had it been a stranger i had O.N.S. with, i would've been mortified. Luckily since we had known each other a while prior, it became a little joke.

We dated for a year when we were 17 and mutually decided to end things, we lost contact when we both got into different relationships as both mine and his s/o weren't comfortable with how close we were and how much we talked being exes. Fast forward to now we've both been single again for a couple of months and spending a lot of time together and talking on the phone, sometimes upwards of 3hours a day. He does a lot for me and I'm very appreciative of him. My problem is I'm starting to think he may like me again as he's been a lot more touchy and flirty, it doesn't bother me as we've both got generally flirty personalities anyway and have known eachother so long. I don't see him as anything more then a very close friend. I've recently been going out on dates with a guy and my friend has picked me up from a few, gone and gotten food and dropped me home (would be about a 1.5hr round trip for him). He's seen the guy I've been going out with and hasn't really questioned it (i havent said much about it to him) and seems more then happy to play taxi in exchange for a mcdonalds and a small bit of petrol money. My concern is that I'm starting to really like the guy I've been meeting up with and I'm scared that I'll either loose contact with my friend again or that my friend will stop talking to me if I get into anything serious as he's always been generally a little jealous and protective. I also feel like I may be taking advantage of him slightly. If its not too late I'd like to hear your thoughts
