If you want betting opportunities, limiting the number of games you focus on makes it harder to find those 1 or 2 "lock" games for the week you can really feel confident putting your money on. And the only way to cultivate that confidence in knowing when you found those "Lock" plays isn't by doing fewer games, it's by doing as many as you can so you have enough reference experiences to spot a potential "lock". This is why I think futures are a waste of time. People spend a lot of time focus and energy for a game months in advance only to watch it lose before it even makes it when their time could have been better spent picking as many games as possible leading up to that big game and by the time it comes around they have the experience to know what a winning pattern relatively looks like.
