Elections, Fraud, & Transparency + Weekend Menu

As we continue to watch the inevitable chaos slowly boiling with the United States Elections, two things stick out to me that I feel are important, even though we know Presidents are selected, not elected *wears the hat of tin*  - Fraud & Transparency.

In my field of study, I have no choice but to be transparent with my results or it would open myself up to fraud. On day one, if I did not write my picks visibly and directly, I would open myself up to fraud. If I didn't keep track and update my overall picking record after each day in front of a public audience that's here under their own free will, I would open myself up to fraud. If I did not break my results down individually by a sports league, to closely examine how I am doing the best and worst, I would open myself up to fraud. If I do not give you a fair warning with every Daily Sports Picks post, letting you know how I did on my previous day of picks in that particular sports league, and whether I was on a win, lose, or even streak, I would open myself up to fraud. 

I always have commented and made rants about being transparent with your results, with your work, apply the scientific method, it's the only way to prove it, and to not open yourself up to potentially fraudulent claims being made against you, and or, you yourself, committing fraud data. 

Not being transparent about results is easy. Cheating is easy. Especially if no one is really going to stop you from doing it. What's not easy is being a decent human being and understanding we are inherently flawed, to begin with. But I digress.
